I just want to bring this up... So much for American English = 'International' English. Dovetail can't even get consistency with their language, let alone their games!
So what exactly is the issue here, as far as I am aware Dovetail are a English company, based in England.
Because they made a big fuss over using American English (Training Center) as the new standard for the franchise.
Moans if its British English, moans if its US English. How about we scrap the English and localisations although and just have the game made in only Esperanto?
Only if if we scrap all the existing routes and only include those from Esparantland. (TODO: Insert Rimmer bad esperanto quote here).
I would prefer Australian English. Or even better outback Australian English. Now sit in the bloody drivers seat set the bloody masder key ta on set the bloody reversah ta fawrwahrd 'n now apply some powah ta get the bloody trayyn movin'. Fahkin' bloody oath mate.
If only this forum has reacts feature like one on the Facebook, i definitely would haha react this. XD
I think Pig Latin should become the new standard language for TSW, just to annoy people on both sides of the pond. I'd love it if DTG decided to add in joke languages, like in Minecraft.
Can't believe that anyone forced them to use that spelling. It's not as if our American cousins couldn't work it out for themselves. (They must think Americans are very stupid, but then I don't know if they follow US politics or not))
Cockney English: Trainin’ Cen’ah Yorkshire English: t’Training Centre Cambridge English: Training University Geordie English: Why Ay Man. Trehning’s fr Soothern Shandy Drinkers.
Yes, DTG's excuse is a bit hollow, but; The UN uses British English. The UK uses British English Scots use Scots/Scottish English Aussies use Australian English Americans use American English Canadians use Canadian English And so on... Pick one, stick with it. If you genuinely find the spelling of "centre" as "center" to be a problem to use then that's the definition of First World Problems. I use Centre, others use Center. No point complaining about it.
And even then it is debatable whether International English is based on British English (Traditional) or American English (Simplified)
The UN - the only thing that is an "international body" uses British English in its work so I'd imagine that says all that has to be said
Which is something we can agree with, so we can already deduce that International English = British English, but some people will still debate it.
This is top notch humour right here. Don't worry though, a fix has been provided by the Preservation Crew for the spelling and is in testing right now.
Heck, it's not even a training center or training centre. It's just a track to just go round and round in circles that barley teaches you anything to be honest. Perhaps they should just call it loop track or something along those lines and ditch the current name which would end this debate
I think there were a few comments back when the title was first introduced. Basically it was an attempt by Auran (as N3V were then), to be chill "dudes", man, and give it a snazzy title! But no one on the N3V forum uses the parlance when talking about actual "trains" whether real or simulated, it's just a trademark.
you need to buy tsw4 to unlock the spelling correction on tsw3. Be mindful there could be a performance hit and tree pop in as a compromise but in the main it should run the same as before
Wrong, wrong and just wrong. TSW5 is slated to be the fix for sounds in TSW2, however we'll need to purchase both TSW3 & 4 in order to unlock this in TSW5. The errors in track placement in TSW4 wont be due until TSW27
I actually dreamt about that last night! Well at least I was wandering around this weird tube station and it was old 1938 stock too which then sliced through a load of people who were stood on the track! Guess I should go back to Ovaltine or milk in the evening instead of decaff tea!
Wrong again. That's going to be part of a paid DLC which will also include dynamic dispatcher, although the dispatch will be bugged and you'll need to own both TSW18 and TSW21 in order to be eligible for the free patch. The good news is owners of all core editions TSW2 thru to TSW15 will get a 2% discount if they preorder TSW19 on a Friday at 4:03pm MT as long as it's currently snowing in Montevideo.
Better still rename it the Roundy Round Route, Sam's Running in the Rain Route or Adam's Folly. Oh Joy! This thread will grow and grow.
And the paid DLC will have the extension to Watford Junction and the Stanmore branch together with a bundled 1938 stock just to annoy the people who have already bought it. That’ll be £25 pound please (or free if you buy two other routes you don’t want and a core update).
