In 2023/24 SNCF is putting the new TGV M into service. Seeing as DTG will be releasing locos separately if more LGV DLCs are released, then the TGV M/ Avelia Horizon would be a very welcome addition.
Keep in mind it has an American derivative the Avelia Liberty. It fits Boston Providence with Ruggles New Northbound platform HSP-46. When running under DB ÖBB 15kv 16.7hz AC wires the TGV M uses it's Metalized Carbon strip to take power from 15kv wires. On these routes Hauptstrecke Rhein Ruhr Hauptstrecke München Augsburg Schnellfahrstrecke Köln Aachen.
Yeah 28 Atlantique are still in service as they were recently lightly refurbished ( RITA program ) but they don’t run on the LGV med and the sets are longer with 2 more coaches. Instead of the plastic TGV M I’d like to see a TGV Réseau and RD it’ll suit better the LGV
I won’t say no to a POS even though they weren’t common at Marseille but it’s better if they do the TGV R so it’ll be easy to do the RD as you just put the R power cars with Duplex coaches that are already made.
