Done that, read up on PZB and know how it works but get an instant 500hz magnet from a solid green. Also on the 16:30 service you have to acknowledge the green light leaving Greppin getting a restricted 1000hz, acknowledge the green signal displaying 70 approaching Bitterfelt to get a restricted 1000hz. Also instant red at Dessau HBF following greens with no 1000hz. Sometimes you acknowledge these greens and get no restriction, sometimes you check and get restricted. Also I cannot find a signal guide, what are the flashing greens? Advanced approach/expect reduced speed?
Starting the 14:15 service you get an 500hz magnet when leaving Leipzig-Connewitz with no advanced warning, the 500hz clears before you get to the green signal so you travel over the green, acknowledge but get emergency brakes?
PZB feels broken. I get 1000hz magnets and I’m under 85 through a yellow, aknowledge PZB but still hit emergency brakes. Can we get someone to test it properly, who really knows how it should work, and then report back to let us know if we’re right or not?
It's not working right on the RT route. Has been said from pc side and as well from console side. In the upcoming RSN route they got it right. They have acknowledged that its not working as intended on RT but also said a fix would require a complete re-signaling of the route which they currently have no resources for. I would like a fix for it but doubt we will see it anytime soon
I get that they need to get money in the bank by focusing on DLC’s but it’s a false economy. They’ll get much more life out of the game and it’s fans if they spend a couple of months fixing bugs and I’m convinced it will pay off long term. I’ve seen what buggy products do to customers first hand. I’ve also seen the difference 3 months of hardcore testing and bug fixing can make, and how much better both finances and customer happiness are after you’ve done it.
Not only that but the signals are all cocked up on NEC meaning ACSES doesn't register correctly. Even shows it in the MattPlaysTV ACSES tutorial! Honestly don't know how they could release this with a clear conscience when these systems don't work properly. "It'll work in the next DLC" isn't good enough.
Official Response is in the July Studio Update: https://live.dovetailgames.com/live...es/article/train-sim-world-july-studio-update
I'm well aware of that 3 month old blog post. What I want to know is how much longer they intend to leave it in its currently broken state.
On the basis of this forum and their previous behaviour, the answer to your question must be forever. I hope I am wrong, but the only thing they seem to have done is fixing the PS4 crashes on WSR. But remember that Sony would be aware of the PS4 crashes.
I have no problem with games coming out with bugs, It’s the way of the world these days, but to pretty much come out and say “sorry, we ain’t going to fix it, at least not anytime soon, but can we interestt you in some dlc (which may or may not be just as broken) at £25 a time?” I don’t think so
Well, Microsoft Flight SImulator came out with a 747 that was not simulated correctly. It didn't break the game! Mind you it had other aircraft that were just like that. It was a very successful flight simulator platform, and still is! SD40Australia-Daniel
Fair enough. If you and others are happy go spend more money on a game that may or may not be fixed, full your boots, each to their own. I’ve got plenty of other games to spend my time and money on.
