Does Early Access Also allow use of Preserved Collection or only the base routes until the 6th?

 

Base routes, includint Spirit of Steam, the rest only 6th.

 

Yeah, Cheer bud, just a bit confused by seeing the routes from TSW1/2 available in the shop so just wanted it clarifying

 

Hi, I bought the deluxe edition of TSW3, but I am not sure if I pre-ordered it. I bought it after the 10am mark today when the pre-order edition released, so does that mean I won't get it until the 6th?

 

Is there an Xbox creators club glitch?

 

Steam version should already download, or what ? I see nothing...

So what do the numbers mean? I.e which DLCs do they represent?

 

You can play it now. Any purchase before the official launch on the 6th counts as ‘pre-order’ and will immediately grant you access to the early-access.

 

The game did not offer the "import existing profile" option when I first loaded it. I'm left with a new profile on Steam, even though my TSW2 profile should have been available?

More info - instead of asking the above, it went straight to asking me which face I wanted, then name, etc.

I tried to find the relevant folders in TSW2 and TSW3 and copied five files from 2 over to 3, now when I log in it has the correct profile, but has level progress of 0 (although my DTL profile is lvl 96, etc).

Any suggestions?

53: Kassel - Wurzburg
54: Cajon Pass
55: South Eastern High Speed
56: must be Spirit of Steam (because I don't have deluxe or access to it)
63: Training Centre

 

Switch profiles and choose the old TSW2 one/

But if you used the same player name for both, you may be screwed. In that case, delete both profiles, restart, let the game ask you to create a new profile and then choose a *different* name for it.

 

I don't get an option to import a profile at any stage, regardless of whether I create a new profile using a different name. If I then try to switch, I only have the option to create a second new profile.

 

The "import" function DOES NOT WORK. This is a workaround.

Try this: go into My Documents/My Games/TrainSimWorld3/Saved/SaveGames/. Now, any file that begins with PP- delete it.

Go back to your old install: My Documents/My Games/TrainSimWorld2/Saved/SaveGames/. Copy the .sav file that begins with PP followed by your old player name. Paste it into the SaveGames folder under TSW3.

Now launch TSW3. One of two things will happen: either it will open with your old character, or it will invite you to creat a new one. Create a new one with a DIFFERENT name, then switch, which should be possible.

 

1. Im taking a guess that 53 is Kassel based on its the biggest file and Kassel is the longest route

 

If you don't bring your profile across from TSW2 in the beginning, can you bring it across at anytime?

Just finished a run on Kassel and when i exited the game it stared this 1.93 GB update. Any information about this?

I've pre-ordered closed and restarted Steam but can't access the game?

 

Did everyone on PS5 get 'early access'? I found it on the PS Store page on Friday and was surprised to buy and install it straight away!

Not complaining, been playing it all day yesterday, can't wait to import my old TSW2 routes onto it!

 

Anyone who buys it prior to the 6th on the PS store counts as a pre-order as the official launch is on the 6th and can play it right away.

The game isn't technically released but shows as such on PlayStation as the release date of 9/2. This is just due to logistical purposes with the way the PS store works.

 

I had to restart my PC to trigger download, how it helps

If you have pre-ordered the Standard or Deluxe version, you will automatically gain access to the TSW 2 version of Southeastern High Speed and/or Spirit of Steam. If you do not want to download these routes for both games, you will need to cancel the TSW 2 download."

So that does means you can have both the TSW2 shorter version + TSW3 longer version of SEHS route on the last sim?
Or I am wrong?

 

You can have the TSW2 version for TSW2, if you keep it installed; it doesn't exist running TSW3.

 

I've just gone to download the early access for pre-orders on my second computer, and instead of having the blue "install" button, it just says "coming sep 6 2022". Can someone help? Why does it say this even though I've pre-ordered it?

Hi, I'm considering purchasing TSW3, but wondering if my PC will cope with it ! I had my PC custom built in 2017 to satisfy the requirements of the original TSW. Should I stick with TSW2, or go one better? My PC spec is :-
Intel core i7 7700 @ 3.60 GHz, RAM 16GB dual channel DDR4 @ 1197 MHz, graphics 2047MB Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050.

I have the same pc as you the difference being the cpu which mine is a ryzen 3 2200g and for me the game runs fine on medium to high settings and one or two things on very high

 

Hi! I'm also don't have a very powerful rigs, equipped with 3GB GTX1050 - Ryzen 5 3550H - 2x8GB 2400MHz RAM & installed the TSW on SSD. TSW3 still playable for me, the it depends on your personal graphic settings. Off course someday i hope i can afford better setup but for now it's good enough for me.

 

I am currently downloading all the DLCs I own on PS4. But the game seems not to know that I also own the "Train Sim World 2 Core routes". I am logged in with the same profile. I just see the DLCs in the PlayStationStore for buying.
