On PS5 there is a crash that happens intermittently when you switch the external camera from the front to the back of the train, mainly on American freight routes. This crash was present in TSW2's routes and has returned in TSW3's Cajon Pass. Please fix this as this gets really annoying when you are halfway done a service and are forced to restart because of this.

That is disappointing to hear. I was hoping it was going to be somethings that the DLC manager would fix. But if it’s happening with the three or four base routes installed in TSW3 that’s not good. I guess I’m going to keep doing the US freight routes Densha de Go styles.
It's specifically to do with the camera being a long way away from the front of the train (think it's on a different map square as it's such a long train). The team are investigating.
