We were told all our DLC would be available at launch. This is proving not to be the case So the only question is who we have the consumer rights act claim against for misselling our preorders
I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that Trading Standards probably don't care that you're going to have to wait a week or two to play content that you already have full access to in TSW2. Any kind of claim will need to prove that DTG have acted maliciously and withheld your content in a manner which has caused actual distress, but by the time anyone gets around to reading your report, you'll probably be happily playing on that very same content, no harm done. Or the new, available content, which is surely the reason you bought TSW3 anyway. So my only question is: you signed up for a new account on the forum just to post that?
And my only question would be you replied to my post just to post that……. My question remains clear and valid. There is clear misselling as when pre orders opened we were told DLC would be available on day 1. The question remains as to who is responsible for that misselling. Likely to be Sony as that is who the contract is with under consumer law
Yeah, sure, you go ahead and make that claim, let's see how that goes. Whether it's DTG or Sony to blame is mostly irrelevant because a) in reality, you're probably not going to file any kind of consumer rights report about a tiny delay in the delivery of your goods (which you already have access to elsewhere), and b) if you do, your claim will go precisely nowhere. Prove me wrong.
Ah the old selective quoting. The sign of a troll I’ll happily raise an issue on launch day with Sony and we’ll see what happens. Given consumer law on misselling I know what will happen even if you have no idea
Yes, I selectively removed some of your bitching. Call that what you want. Once again: prove me wrong. I won't hold my breath.
If you want to call a quoting of your own words back at you as being “bitching” then perhaps that says more about you and your own words I’ll happily come back when I’ve spoken to Sony about the issue. If you want to hold your breath until then I personally wouldn’t recommend it if I were you
Ok, buddy, you go and do your magical report to Sony. Let me know when you get your mega compensation and everyone from DTG has been sent to prison, or your dad's beaten them up, or whatever you expect to happen. I'm all ears. Uhh huh. Definitely still interested...
Selective quoting once again Followed by some exaggeration. Come back when you have a serious post. I’m all ears. Uhh huh. Definitely still interested…
Selective posting is a very effective tool for highlighting exactly which part of a post you're responding to (and which parts are being ignored because they make little sense and appear to have been written by a clueless teenager after an evening of cheap spirits). None of which is really on topic, so it's probably time to call it a night.
In regards to the comment on trading standards, just gonna drop my thoughts... The product its self on the store doesn't state anything about previous dlc and only covers the base tsw3 content Announcements were made on the TSW site and forums, this includes things like the problems the game will have. Along with changes all clearly stated (more or less) There were live streams... None featuring previous content, even videos on the store. I'm probably wrong but there also small print stating something along the lines of "final product may be different and subject to changes." I'm guessing there's other things too, but more or less, in my opinion and based on my experience buying the game, the "consumer" should be aware of what they are buying by the time they've paid for it... Just my opinion though... EDIT: also if ya wanna get technical, yes all your dlc is available... It's available for train sim world 2 (tsw2020 too)... The game you originally bought it on and are able to download at any time.
