I would like to see Paddington-Oxford or Swindon because it would be a nice route to have GWR steam locos and experience Paddington before it was all electricfied and modern stock came into use Locos GWR 2-6-0 7800 Manor Class GWR 2-6-0 6000 King Class GWR 4-4-0 3700 City Class GWR 0-6-0PT Pannier Tanks Rolling stock Third Class open coach in gwr chocolate and cream livery Composite Coach in gwr chocolate and cream livery And loads more rolling stock Branch lines Greenford branch would nice will auto coaches running up and down the line Henly on Thames would be the same with Greenford branch If you did enjoy reading this suggestion and I did accidentally leave something out like loco or rolling stock I don’t mind adding it in. Thanks for reading
I can't believe that DTG haven't come up with another steam route, now that they clearly have the ability. This would be an excellent choice
I think the most likely choice for a GWR steam route is the Riveria Line - DTG did it for TSC and it's relatively short.
What is missing here are Gwr Toad brakevans Dulcie Allice Autocoach GWR 14xx Oliver class locomotive. Remember GWR Pannier tank Duck 57xx are also Autocoach Compatible like the GWR 14xx Oliver's for use on Branch lines. 77 miles London paddington to Swindon via Reading.
You are forgetting the now long disappeared Southall to Brentford Docks and West Drayton to Staines West and Uxbridge Vine Street branches along with the larger stations at Windsor Central and Henley on Thames. Also the Maidenhead to Bourne End line used to continue on to High Wycombe. If ever considered then these are essential as all are long gone.
