Dpu Lights In The American Freight Wont Work

    lights wont work at all when setting up in dpu configuration i have the knobs in the right postions but lights on the rear of the loco wont come on at all i know normally the trailing loco wont have lights on at the back (correct me if i am wong on this)

    If you change the MU Headlight Control knob on the back wall of the cab of the locomotive at the end of the train to Single or Intermediate Unit, you can turn the headlight on. It's not how it should work, but at least it will give you the correct look for a train with DPUs on the rear.

    In real life, DPU headlights in the middle or rear of the train are not controllable from the lead unit. They must be manually set by the train crew locally.
    Front and rear headlight controls in a locomotive will only control locomotive(s) in that locomotive consist.

    Correct. The headlight circuit is hard-cabled, and only applies to that MU (2 or more locos coupled together).

    hi all thanks for the replys i got the lights to work on the sd40s in a dpu but on the other train wont have it at all even on right settings on the knobs wont have it ill use them in a single/intemediae configuration
