I've just preinstalled TSW3 standard edition and noticed that my already owned content isn't listed in the 'manage installation' part. Even though it's not something I can play til the official launch day does this still mean I have to download preexisting content on that day? Or is it an oversight? Thanks.
As mentioned by Matt on a Stream all users on all platforms will have to re-download their exisitng TSW2 DLC on Offical Launch Day. The files have been re-cooked/Re-compiled so you have new versions of these files even if not all the content has changed the files have. This is related to the UE4 engine. Yup I'd already figured that was probably the case, but it was just a courtesy query because this is the version of the game that you can only purchase on launch day...and now that TSW is open to a wider audience from day one it would be a shame if it started with the usual teething problems.
Honestly I am not playing it...... For some strange reason my Discord server seems to think I am lol. I have just pre installed the game pass version as well lol
You will need to first run the core game before it can retrieve previously purchased content. Core game launches the 6th on Game Pass
