Yes it seems to be doing contrary to what DTG told us would happen. All the DLC is being automatically downloaded in one huge batch rather than us having to tick off the list in the library. Actually a cunning if unintentional ploy as it means some of us are stuck for a day or two now before we can get back in and play the game - spreads out the feedback! Well at least it means I’ve managed to do a few deliveries in ETS2 and complete a run over Donner in Run 8, while I’m waiting.

I think you did not understand the issue people have. Buying and downloading TSW3 on steam automatically starts to download all your TSW2 DLC (for TSW3)...so like 100 GB for some. But we should be able to choose and only download the one we want Or do you mean we need to uncheck all the DLC we don't want before installing TSW3?
Well last night when this started there was no option to tick or untick as your owned DLC wasn’t listed by item, just the base stuff from TSW3. I haven’t been on the PC this morning yet to see if that’s changed.
I don't see the issue here. Just go into your TSW3 DLC and uncheck the DLC you don't want. Now it won't download. I had no issues last night but I did restart Steam a couple times (for unrelated reasons). Cheers
As I said, haven't checked yet today but certainly last night this was not an option, there was no list of DLC to tick or untick.
I had the option from the off so downloaded PC then once that was installed and game open I could download the rest. Sadly I inadvertently unticked SEHS (epic fail). Still got 18GB of 132GB to download.....
I can confirm that I had no choice but to accept a massive 86GB TSW3 DLC download when I opened Steam earlier today. My DLC content showed 5 items and continued to show 5 until the full download completed. (See screenshot taken during the download):
That was the same as me! It's not a huge bother as I said, just went off and played something else but some users might want to get stuck in right away.
