PC Impossible To Use Three Db Passenger Trains Included With Tsw3

There is no way to use the BR442 set, 766.2 control car, or BR146.2 loco included with TWS3 Deluxe Edition (presumably the German DLC). There is no route available for them if you go through Train Depot>Timetable, and Train Depot>Scenarios and Train Depot>Training Modules bring up blank screens for them. Scenario Planner does not allow them to be selected. This equipment is in the training areas so I assume it was intended to be included with the game, but there is no way to use it.

 

Maybe Because They are AI only

 

Why would they be shown in the Train Depot to select from then?

 

Those trains are ai only services. They are layers to make kassel, fulda and wurzburg hbf a bit more busier rather than having empty stations on kassel-wurzburg. If you want to use those trains however, your gonna have to get the routes that those trains run on. SKA, Riesa Dresden, MSB, HMA , HRR, RSN etc

 

I don't understand why they are in the depot to select from if I can't use them.

Are these new versions of the trains for TSW3 or are they just the same as the TSW2 versions? If they are new versions will the newer version be retained if I get the relevant DLC?

 

I can't even use these trains that are listed in my train depot in the scenario planner... Doesn't make sense at all. These are why I bought the game based on seeing them listed on a stream as being in the game.

That's great. Why are they in the depot? Why do they show up when you click the "timetable" button? Why do they show up when you click on the "scenarios" or "training" buttons then lead to a glitched screen?

 

Waste of my time. Huge waste. They should not be in the menus to pick a train to drive at all, and if they are they certainly shouldn't lead to glitched screens rather than just say "AI only" or something.

 

Ok thanks for the list. I see the DoSto cars on NDR, RSN, MSB, and HHL. The DoSto cars are what I want and to be able to drive the control car.

So:

NDR - says it includes DoSto but doesn't explicitly say you can drive the control car or even mention it other than DoSto
RSN - mentions the control car, I assume you can drive it?
HHL - explicitly says you can drive the control car
MSB - explicitly says push-pull operation

Can I drive the control car on the two that don't explicitly say so?

Out of curiousity:

SKA - BR423, no BR422 listed so I assume it can't drive on there?
HMA - BR423, no BR422
HRR - BR422, BR425

In other words even other lines with regional/commuter EMUs, you can only drive the BR422 on the line that includes it in the package? Which I assume corresponds to the correct real-world line?

 

If you don't own them then (to my mind) they shouldn't show up on your available list at all. They're layers as AI so not drivable so that wouldn't count either
Hopefully DTG can see this as a bug or issue and close it out

 

I saw this on a stream of the game and thought they were included... So it's not just my client that it's happening to. I submitted a ticket and was told they were not being displayed if I didn't have the proper expansions or skins for them...
