Hey! I'd really like to play TS 2019 64 bit but I cant find out if there is ONE download and you have to configure it or if there are two different downloads? And sorry If this question ist stupid, i am completely new on TS.
You should have both versions. If you usually start TS by clicking a desktop shortcut you won't notice a difference because that's still linked to the 32bit .exe. Start Steam, bring up TS2019 under the LIBRARY tab and click Play there- you should be offered the choice of running the 32 or 64 bit .exe. You can add a 64bit shortcut by finding the new .exe file in your Railworks folder, right-clicking it and choosing "Create shortcut".
Hi JJTimothy, I have a question about create a shortcut of RailWorks64.exe inside the folder of Railworks. I did create a shortcut inside that folder then go on to play game after login to Steam but still ask me to click below: Train Simulator Play Train Simulator Play Train Simulator 64-bit Edition I just want to choose 64-bit not 32-bit at all. How do I make this to work just with 64-bit Edition of Train Simulator? Looking forward to see this to solve. John
Go to where JJTimothy says about, rather than clicking "create shortcut" select "send to" and then "Desktop". this will create a shortcut on your desktop. When your computer starts you HAVE TO have steam running, but then you can use the shortcut on the desktop to start the 64 bit software.
Now did create a desktop shortcut with " Railworks64 " and see on my desktop screen. When I click that desktop shortcut and ask me to login to Steam otherwise leave Steam login running on taskbar that will work to click the desktop shortcut. Tell me if I did this wrong and need to explain better with this. John
OK, this is what I do when I start my machine up First I start the steam client and wait for it to do it's update checks. Once I know it's logged in and all fine I double click my shortcut to railworks64
