I'm really enjoying the ICE 1 on Kassel-Würzburg, but I noticed something strange going on with the PZB on this train. Normally, I don't drive with the HUD on so I rely completely on the gauges and indicators in the cab. As I approached Würzburg in the ICE 1 after exiting LZB monitoring, I didn't slow down quickly enough which caused a PZB emergency brake application. After resetting the emergency brakes, I continued on into Würzburg at about 30 km/h when I got another emergency brake application and I couldn't figure out what happened.

After some experimenting, I noticed that the in cab display in the ICE 1 doesn't indicate that PZB has switched into restrictive monitoring mode. I've made a short video to demonstrate what I mean.

In the video, after acknowledging the 1000 Hz magnet, I immediately stop in order to activate PZB restrictive monitoring. On the HUD on the right you can see that after I've come to a stop, restrictive monitoring activates, but this is not reflected at all on the in cab display. I'm pretty sure the ICE 3 does the same thing.

This doesn't seem prototypical to me and I feel I'm missing some pretty important information about the PZB system from the in cab displays. If I remember correctly, the other trains that have LCD displays in the cab display a yellow banner beneath the 85 light to indicate that you cannot exceed 45 km/h due to restrictive monitoring. Does anyone have any insights on how it should be on the ICE 1?

As a rule of thumb anytime you come to a stop under a PZB1000, when you restart you will be restrictive (theres some locos which dont seem to follow this in TSW, but my understanding is IRL they all do), although I'd be somewhat surprised if IRL the ICE1 doesnt indicate this on the display.

Yes, this is a bug during the 1000Hz indication. The 85 should not be flashing until it gets into restricted mode. This is not happening for the 500Hz magnets, though.

Just a quick correction on what I have stated above: The correct behaviour should look like this:

85 is in fact flashing with 1000Hz indication from the beginning (correctly modelled). Once restricted, the 85 and 70 flash reciprocating and the 1000Hz moves one field to the right (not modelled).

I noticed the BR 146 doesn't alternate between flashing 70 and 85 symbols on the cab screen when restricted too. The HUD and cab are also no longer in sync as to when the flashing starts and ends as well.

There is a list of 3 to choose from but no way of telling which one is which that I can see. It was a service.
