Hey I'm having an issue with The Great Western DLC. I have owned it since TSW2 came out but for some reason it won't let me download it to TSW3 and says I need to pay for it again. This has obviously confused me as I've only just gone to play the route today but couldn't find it in my Add ons list. Not sure if I missed a memo about it or not but any help would be appreciated.
This appears to be a known issue. I have the same issue on the series X. Hopefully they will resolve this soon.
When you say your Add-ons list I assume you are using Manage game and add-ons function (and not picking DLC's from the Store)? All appears to be fine on my Series S (other than I'm running low on disc space). Achievements either not popping when expect or random for DLC I haven't installed (as yet) popping has been my only issue?
I have all the DLC's downloaded and available. GWE keeps telling me to buy it again, even though I own it since Founders edition days.
GWE and RT here…. I own it since Founders edition days but I have to buy it again. BR182 is installed but does not work because RT is not installed. Same for the Western Legend DLC.
My Diesel Legends downloaded, but in the game, it tells me I need to buy it. I assume it is because GWE seems to think I need to buy it again. I was hoping for some official DTG updates today, but nothing came through. Fingers crossed for tomorrow.
Read the last message here - it's being worked on. https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/tsw3-state-of-play-9th-september.58987/ For me, It allows me to get GWE but not RT. (I can see RT as "purchased" for tsw2000 in the xbox store so know I should have it.
I haven't yet bought the new TSW3 yet, but I wish they could have released all needed updates for GWR first, like being able to edit the 125 HST and Class 166 Turbo, before releasing this new version of the game?
And I really really hope that the creators of the game, 'Dovetail', would consider a new feature to the game where we the players can get creative building our own railway routes, like the 2004 PC Train Simulator game did?
