Right now it looks like it is available to play on Hamburg, Riesa and Kassel (out of those I have), which is kinda weird, cos it used to also be available on Koln-Aachen route... is there some issue with that combo atm?
You get 1 service on ska which is realistic to the actual timetable on that route. But that's only through the new journeys expansion pack which is getting released at a later date.
The 101 layer on SKA is part of the new journeys pack which hadn't been ported over and radio silence on when this will happen from DTG. It makes zero sense that they can port over 50+ DLC on day 1 but NJ they can't even offer a date we'll get it
Speaking of which, it would be nice to see the BR101 added to more routes. Rhein-Ruhr Osten for example, where it runs in real life. Ruhr Sieg Nord and Main Spessart Bahn could also have it as an AI train. But it requires extensive timetable changes, which is why we haven't seen that yet.
I have my Theories as to why that is. The DLC doesn't work if not all 3 base routes are installed or they want to split the Thing into 3 small DLC.
oh duh me tired, brains work not properly lol... so this is the complete list of layered routes for 101 from the wiki, as far as I managed to find: Hauptstrecke Rhein Ruhr (home route) Schnellfahrstrecke Köln-Aachen (like 1 service) Hauptstrecke Hamburg – Lübeck (a lot of services) Nahverkehr Dresden (a lot of IC services) Schnellfahrstrecke Kassel-Würzburg (some services) Bahnstrecke Bremen – Oldenburg (decent number of services) Bahnstrecke Salzburg-Rosenheim (a LOT of services both ways) wish we had yet more... tho with Rosenheim Salzburg we finally have a nice playground for it... wish we also had a route like that one, but also with LZB sections
yesterday for some reason I thought Rhein Ruhr Osten is also a 101 route, could have mistaken it for Hauptstrecke Rhein Ruhr... so many similar route names lol
