chiltern mainline: a 112 mile route so wouldnt be the longest route in the game. can use the 66 and reskin the 166, also use the 168, both the /0 and other varients. for dlc, would be good to have the 68 loco hauled set.

snow hill lines: great malvern/worcester stations to dorridge/straftford upon avon. trains on the route would be a class 150, 153, 170, 172. option for dlc addon to be the shakespeare express

This forum is for general TSW topics. If you want to post route suggestions, use the specific forum provided for that purpose, with the big word “Suggestions” at the top! :)

Agree should be posted under “suggestions” if you want to influence DTG and maybe it will be moved by the administrator. However I like both choices. I would love to see Snow Hill in the route and my suggestion would be a 1950s steam to anywhere south of Birmingham. I remember the trains disappearing into the tunnel in my youth and would love that recreated.

I would love to see Steam era Snow Hill - especially if the entire station with the concourse above the platforms was accessible. Spent hours of my youth waiting/hoping for Kings on the Liverpool expresses! My luck that I was usually on the 'other' (New Street) station when one came through :(

The GWR Class 166 is a type not in use on Chiltern Mainline and simply reskinning would not work. The Chiltern company uses Class 165/0 which were not fitted with air conditioning and hence had different windows. Furthermore, the GWR uses Class 165/1 with the primary difference being the geared top speed which is 75mph for Chilterns /0 and 90mph for GWRs /1.
Therefore a whole new train would need to be made. Otherwise I like this suggestion with the addition of both classes 67 and 68 on express services perhaps at the time they were changing over.

It would be nice to get the class 68 with it

it would be nice to drive the class 172,68 or 168 on the snow hill line to kidderminster from snow hill or chiltern mainline from leamington spa
to kidderminster and round oak to kiddermister in the class 66
