    Thanks.

I made some changes to the CN version after I took those photos……. There’s also now paintwork patching behind the numbers on the cab sides and tail end where they were painted over and replaced etc…..

Hello my first post to the livery designer creations thread.
I've just uploaded these TEA tankers to my CC. Some TEA variety to choose from. Search G49 to find all my TEA uploads plus many more. Ok I need a little help. I made this white OUIGO dot COM TGV livery but can’t upload it to the creator’s club. Is there some kind of copyright thing here? Because there’s no profanity or offensive content here. Unless you don’t like the TGV… DTG Alex upload_2022-9-9_18-55-45.png upload_2022-9-9_18-56-4.png

I seem to be having trouble selecting a livery for the SEH JNA wagons anybody else having this issue?

It's weird because the MFA wagons from SEH work fine and I'm currently working on the JNA ones.

Seems that the TSW Livery Manager is currently not compatible with TSW3 so if you do upgrade it looks like liveries are shareable on CC only for now.

The creator has said he is looking at making it work with TSW3.

Been a very long time since I posted something in here, so here is a random livery I made during early access while testing that the designer did indeed still work properly in TSW3

Wow some of you guys are really awesome at this... I have just started creating and still getting used to the program. I have watched some of your videos as a guide but there is sure a lot to get used to. I particularly enjoy the Canadian schemes and North American variants.
I really enjoy this aspect of the game as after 42 years of model railroading I can now create my models (or at least there paint schemes) and use them in a game that gives a far more realistic feel for running them. It's almost like having the real thing!!
I just have to keep working away at the program to get better, but have been having fun creating my various liveries that I have only ever done on scale models with paint before. Very inspiring work guys! I appreciate every posted picture.

I do have one question -- how do I get wider (bold) lettering?
My original scale models use a bold font that I can't seem to duplicate in the LD. *See images for comparison.
    I am on Xbox One.

Thank you. I don't think I have that option with XBox (that I know of), but I will play around a little bit more. There may well be a way and I just haven't found it yet.

There are two ways to make bold lettering. You can copy more layers of the same character on top of each other which will make the character look slightly bolder but looking at the font you are trying to do from your model I’d say you will need to create the letters using shapes.

These locos of mine all have lettering created from various shapes rather than using stock letters.

    Wow! Nice stuff Dave.
I don't know if I have the patience to make letters from shapes. I am kind of broken that way ;-)
It would be far easier for DGT to includes some basic font choices and a 'Bold' option.

It can be a bit time consuming at times but you only have to create it once and can then group and copy all the layers involved onto the other side / front / rear.

A quick estimation and I came to the rough idea of your BRANCH LINE text taking 33 layers/shapes to create. I'd say all squares and rounded squares squashed in different ways. (So the easiest are things like the L made out of two squashed squares, E made out of 4 squashed squares etc.....)

Yes, thank you, I discovered the group/copy/move/paste. That is a real time saver. However it would be even nicer if you could save those things that are used regularly to a file for later access and reuse... instead of having to redo them with every new livery. Like a personal logos file or something.

As for the BLR text, I may try playing with it as you have stated, but as i said ... patience is not my best trait ;-)

It’s quicker than you think. Once you have adjusted one square for the upright section of an L for instance you just copy and use it again and again when required for the upright sections of other letters like A, B, D, E etc….. And the same with the squares you’ve adjusted for the horizontal sections etc…….

So I sat down with the intent to try building letters with shapes as per Dave’s advice but ended up building these instead.
Yeah, I am a Mad Max fan.
