I'm completely baffled by how the brakes work on this train. There are three separate types of brake as far as I can figure out. Which is fine, I can find my way around them. But the baffling part, is that the controller seems to arbitrarily pick which of the brakes it wants to control when it comes to slowing the train down (using the left trigger and bumper) Sometimes it uses the electric brake (?) which slows it down really slowly, and other times it uses the other two brakes together. I don't understand it at all? Thanks for any help
With X you can iterate through the different brake types, and then use them with LB / LT. Everytime you get out the seat, make sure to check which one is selected because it changes it back if you do so.
...and you can see also a different icons in the hud. this icons remind you which type of braking system you have selected.
It's rather an annoying "feature" of the game isn't it. A real train driver doesn't forget what brake he's using every time he leaves the seat!
I love to drive from external camera and again, I cant dismiss the hud 'cause I have not an usb keyboard to connect to my xbox. The real drivers dont pay to drive a train...but the train company pay them
