Do you have any mods installed, ini changes or dx12 enabled. Tsw2 mods can't be used in tsw3 until they're updated. They all can cause crashes. Also verify files
I never use mods in any game (developers should fix their own issues, and I don't particularly trust such things, for stability reasons, etc.). I don't mess with files (see previous parenthetical comment). The game is DX11. UE crashes started happening with TSW2 after DTG's updates; they happened in the early access of TSW3, and they continue in the full release version that effectively reinstalled the whole game anyway. But I will give verify files a try, I guess.
Me neither. But I admire the efforts of those who take the time to create the mods. I just lack the confidence to alter game files. I think it's the developer's responsibility to improve the game, not the player's.
After checking the files via game properties again a crash, I do not use any mods all the game files are those provided by steam as well as for my DLCs, I nevertheless noticed that when I launch the game from the icon TSW3 creates during installation on the desktop the crash is systematic when exiting the game which is not the case when launched from the Steam client !!! If it can matter at all!!! Sincerely, tof
It's been said many times in forums but dtg are aware of the issue. It crashes every time you exit the game whether you have mods or any changes or not.
Personally - I have found if I exit from the pause menu - it crashes as you describe If I exit from the main menu - no crash.
This is incorrect. Some mods are working fine, check out the TSW3 compatible page of TSC. The Unreal crash is happening mods or not.
Usually this bug didnt affect my game so far until today.... Was nearly finished with an shaunting scenario on Tees Valley Lackenby Steelworks with the Class 08 Blu and game dropped my nearly after 1h shaunting tasks to desktop.
Well, it's lucky then that we can use Universal Unreal Unlocker to save the game every few minutes, to save too much heartache in the event of a crash. Oh, wait – then you trigger an impassable red signal bug. Guess we're screwed either way. Yay!
Overclocked AMD CPU's running with Nvidia GeForce cards seem to cause game crashing issues with the latest Nvidia GeForce drivers. The issue can cause the game to crash for no apparent reason. The resolution? Set your CPU back to stock/ default settings in your PC's BIOS. Result, no more in game crashes.
I’m using an undervolted 5900x (which allows it to boost to 5.1ghz) with an overclocked 2080ti running on the latest Nvidia GPU drivers and haven’t had a single crash. I think it’s more likely that your specific overclock was unstable rather than it being a widespread problem.
I have an Intel Core i7 11700k non OC with an RTX 2070 with the latest drivers as for all my system and winqows 11 and the game still crashes for no apparent reason and randomly !!! It's annoying but until now only happens to me at the exit of the game and this whatever the way to leave the game !!!
I get this crash al, the time, it shouldn’t, but , it doesn’t harm anything does it as you’re leaving game? I just view it as the credits scene now
