Are there any mods which are known to not currently work with TSW 3 and result in game crashes? I've currently got an issue with the game crashing when clicking the settings menu, removing all my mods seems to fix this but I'm yet to work out which mod is causing it.
In the train sim community mod website, there is a train sim world 3 tickbox and all the mods that are tsw3 compatible are in that. The modders have to update the mods for tsw3, so when all the mods come over to tsw3 will depend on the modder
Yes there are alot of mods which now no longer work or cause crashing. You are better to remove them all and add them back one by one to check which one is working. I believe the creators of the mod manager are working on a list of compatible mods. Safe to say anything which effects the hud, menus, TSW2 SEHS or the core game may cause issues. Specifically I know that the german PIS mods, loco substitution mods and the hud resizing mod cause crashing.
The FGW unlocker isn't working, nor sadly are londonmidland great lighting correction mods. I think most mods that edit textures only are fine, things that change core elements of the game will likely need updating.
Give it time guys. The good mods will be updated because they are needed. It will clear out a lot of redundant ones also.
For those who use the American freight engine sound mods, do these still work? I'm assuming so since I saw a lot of uk sound mods from tsw2 that were in the tsw3 compatible category that weren't like updated or anything. So I just wanted to ask
