Xbox Dynamic Weather (tsw2 Routes On Tsw3)

Is this actually activated in TSW3 on older routes because I've tried multiple locations in various months (using the default 'clear' starting weather) and have yet to see it change once from that generic hazy sunshine skybox regardless of journey length.

 

Make sure you're playing them on tsw3. Sometimes you'll get rain, sometimes you won't.

 

Ah, good point...that was a very misleading thread title. It's now amended.

 

You have selected the dynamic weather option right?

 

Yes. Dynamic weather / clear / random month
TVL, NTP, GWE (three times), SKA (around 30 miles worth) and East Coastway.
Every single route had the exact same hazy sunshine/thin clouds skybox with the only difference being that the moon was also present in certain months. I even left the train idling on the platform (after closing its doors to ensure the service registered as started) for 20 mins on EC whilst I went to the shop.

i think dynamic weather not implemented old roads TSW 2 my all TSW 2 roads wheather constant not changing and select dynamic the start is printemps soleil

 

Only on the tsw3 version of the tsw2 routes.

 

Any route you play in TSW3 will have dynamic weather enabled. If it hasn't changed, then you may just be unlucky? I find the weather on the Bakerloo Line changes, and London Commuter, and Northern TransPennine. Can't remember playing the other routes long enough recently for the weather to change though.

Are you playing on Journey Mode by any chance?

 

For me, something has definitely changed. I drive mainly on Tees Valley, Northern Trans Pennine, Diesel Legends and West Somerset and when I first got tsw3 the dynamic weather was very dynamic. Nowadays, several updates later, I haven't seen the weather change at all on the old tsw2 routes. And yes, I have dynamic weather selected and I'm definitely on tsw3 as I uninstalled tsw2. I'm using a PS4.
