I have raised a ticket on this also, but the LIRR M7 Introduction is broken. I play on PC (Steam) Load the intro from the journey mode (first item on chapter 1). Play until it asks you to put the controller in coast You are unable to go below min power on the throttle, and unable to coast or brake. You end the level because you SPAD
LIRR remains broken, what a suprise... Did the Long Island Railroad hurt someone from DTG, or what is the reason for it being the least favorite child?
I can confirm, pretty embarrassing when even the introduction of a 30€ DLC is broken. DTG, how many weeks or months will it take to fix this? Hmm? #hotfixcandidate EDIT: I have found a solution to complete the M7 Instruction. Start normally until you have to accelerate to 25mph. Once you reach 24mph you have to react fast and make sure you hold the master controller all the time with the mouse. Now accelerate to 25mph, let go of the master controller and grab it again immediately so that the objective jumps further, you have to be fast and pull the master controller to minimum brake, then back to coast to not lose too much momentum. Make sure you hold it again with the mouse, don't let it go and wait until the objective tells you to set the master controller to 20% brake. Set to 20% brake, let go of the master controller briefly so that the objective jumps further and grab it again immediately to release the brakes and reach the station with the remaining momentum. On the way to Garden City, strangely enough, no other interactive elements are locked and you can drive normally. There would be fewer problems if this pointless and above all ridiculous interactive element locking did not exist. This is not the first time that this pathetic feature breaks instructions and frustrates players. It simply has to go!
I still haven't had a reply to my support ticket on this one... but it is still just under a week. Thanks for the workaround though - I may attempt it (as I have a personal need to do things in order... and complete them without skipping steps...)
Really helpful, mate - I just got past the M7 introduction on PS5 using your technique. Thanks for posting, sequencer2k16. “I have found a solution to complete the M7 Instruction. It works, thank you for the solution. DTG really need to fix this. As a new player, it's frustrating when you can't even pass the tutorial.
Hello, is there any chances for you to assist the community get mommentum in the resolution by raising your support ticket as well? I'll do the same in a moment to request a fix for this bug, but will be helpful only if most of us do the same; otherwise, without enough people raising complaints on a given situation, responsibles won't pay attention. Everybody else who's being affected by the same bug, would appreciate if you help us all by doing your part
Hello, did DTG replied back to you on the support ticket? I'm planning to raise mine as well, and would like to check which was the outcome for your case. Thanks!
The QA team seems to be passing some very easy-to-pick-up problems that are in the core of the add-ons as the issues are cross-platform. Not great! :/ sequencer2k16 - I just this minute tried your workaround... thank you so much! It worked a treat.
QA just has no clue and is a joke, you could laugh at it if it wasn't so sad. A DLC is tested for months, then released and 5min later Steam and the forum is filled with obvious bug reports. QA should be completely replaced by dedicated players, players who love and appreciate TSW. I'm glad that the workaround helped you, but it can't and shouldn't be the only solution. In this case it is especially bad because it is a tutorial of a 30€ DLC and after a few minutes the first frustration is there, even before you have started. LIRR is old but DTG still charges full price and continues to make money with the DLC, so they should take care of such serious bugs immediately, like full price = full support does not matter which route.
