PC Broken Achievements (tsw 3)

This is a thread for broken Achievements on TSW 3 (steam). This has been tried on both the imported TSW 2 profile and a new profile. If you come across more please comment and make sure it has been tried on both imported profile and new one.

CL465: Training Complete
Complete the Class 465 Introduction training module - (FIXED 29/09/2022)

BR 187: A Long First Trip
Complete the DB BR 187 scenario 'From Aachen to Ehrenfeld'

Complete all the training modules on Nahverkehr Dresden

almost all the training modules that were done on tsw2 will not unlock on my imported profile
but they do on a new created one for me

i have not tried the cl465

 

Yes you have to redo the training and scenarios on a new profile

 

i confirm that the class 465 tutorial achievement does not work/unlock on a new profile either

 

It does unlock on 8th gen builds because they left the TSW2 465 journey (Networking) with the original tutorial (Matt's voiceover). You can only access it on journey mode here. All other sections takes you to the Training Center module. The achievement has not been updated to work with the Training Center version.

 

Having trouble unlocking the cajon pass training modules trophy on ps5 I have done various new profiles still nothing

 

Thanks for the info. I'm playing on Series X with my TSW2 profile imported so as it stands, this achievement is not possible, is that right? Asking as last night, I completed all the training modules but nothing unlocked for me.

 

All training modules achievement should unlock but only on a new profile due to the imported profile thinking the achievement has been unlocked (from TSW2).

CL465: Training Complete achievement hasn't been updated to work with the Training Center introduction. Since Xbox One has got 2 journeys (Southeastern Speed and Networking), it is possible to access the old introduction that takes place on Southeastern for the achievement. On the Series X and PC, only Southeastern Speed journey is visible.

 

Another one that doesn't work. This was also broken in TSW 2.

BR 187: A Long First Trip
Complete the DB BR 187 scenario 'From Aachen to Ehrenfeld'

 

On XSX:

CL31: Cemented Skillset (Complete 15 services using the BR Class 31) – I unlocked this achievement is TSW2, imported my TSW2 profile in TSW3, completed a service, the achievement didn't unlock. Started a new profile, completed a few (less than 15) CL31 services, the tracking is still at 0%.


GWB: Moving Up a Gear (Complete the GWB Class 101 Introduction training module) – Created a new profile, completed the GWE version of the Class 101 Introduction, the achievement didn't unlock. Completed the TVL, and the NTP versions, too, still nothing. This one randomly popped 6 days after I last touched the 101…

DRA: Alleskönner (Complete all the training modules on Nahverkehr Dresden) is also broken. You can't complete the BR 143 introduction, because signal 16N3 just outside of Priestewitz Station is at red. On the other track there's a freight train that's also stopped at a red signal. Waited for about 10 minutes, the dispatcher still told me to wait for the signal to change.

 

can confirm same issue on PC (Steam). Another service behind the freight also gets a bit close for comfort...

 

the Hamburg-Lübeck 50 Service complete Achievement isnt working for me too .
someone tested that too ?

 

i think most of the issues on PC are also on the Gen 9 Consoles like XSX and PS5

 

Yeah, HBK: From City to Coast isnt tracking for me while MSB: Clean Sweep is tracking. Imported profile, XSX. Was in the middle of both of these when I imported.

 

How far have have you got with this achievement?

For both of you which platforms were you using?

I've just did a service on my imported profile and it did register eventually, not as quick as other achievements. I closed the game, waited a few minutes and started it again.

 

For me this is working on imported profile. Will adjust the OP to highlight specifically on XSX

 

It's at 0 but should be at 15-20. And I don't think it's a matter of time as I did my first TSW3 HBK run a few days ago.

Platform: PS4

Issue: Various issues with “C40-8W: C40 Miles” achievement.

Detailed description: I do not have the C40-8W. However, the trophy popped up while I drove the TGV Duplex on SEHS Extended. In the trophy menu, the achievement has the icon of the “TGV: Over in a Flash” achievement. This achievement appeared in TSW2, but is not part of the TSW3 trophy list for me on PS4. Instead, a duplicate of the “C40-8W: C40 Miles” achievement appears in the list.

Conclusion: The name and description of the “TGV: Over in a Flash” achievement in TSW3 were accidentally replaced with the name and description of the “C40-8W: C40 Miles” achievement. It still unlocks correctly when driving the TGV for 200km, but the fact that the name etc. are incorrect makes people believe they received the wrong achievement. This issue is likely widespread (at least on PS4) as almost 5% of all players have the achievement, while only 0.1% have the correct C40 achievement that’s also in the list. The issue could be fixed by replacing the name and description of the faulty achievement with the correct info.

 

The name and description of "TGV: Over in a Flash" is actually shown in the trophy lists but in the wrong place. It is shown instead of a trophy for the Class 465. These errors are all in Trophy Group 12 and are included in my thread "TSW3 Trophies/Achievements" in the TSW3 Launch Feedback section together with some other anomalies.

 

On Steam, KWG: Cool as ICE doesn't seem to have unlocked for me and I've done all tutorials on KWG. I even tried doing the ICE3 HMA tutorial and the 185.2 MSB and RSN tutorials as they come under the same locomotive on the menu. No luck!

 

thundergaming11 im playing on XSX , but you get the 50 services on HBK done ?

 

GWB: Moving Up a Gear unlocks only when you complete L465: Network Expansion: Complete the Class 465 scenario 'Temporary Contract'

The triggers are set wrong for this achievement and the GWB. Basically, completing a free DLC will unlock a paid achievement thats 2 packs deep. ~$50 USD I'm seeing

 

I've not reached 50 yet but it is registering each service I complete.

 

"CL465: Training Complete
Complete the Class 465 Introduction training module" is now fixed. You have to create another profile and complete it again if you have already done it.

 

CL31: Cemented Skillset is not working on Xbox One either.

Unlock % on Xbox is still at 0.00%, so I'd assume doesn't work with Windows PC version either. I can try this out later.

Can confirm this is still broken. Just done it on PC. Well. The scenario. Not the achievement

 

The introduction of the DB BR 101 is not possible, so neither is the achievement.

You get to Mülheim (Ruhr) there is the marking to stop, if you stop the marking disappears but it does not trigger.

 

yes it happened to me too... I restarted the scenario and on the second try I managed to finish it...

 

Unfortunately doesn't work for me. Tried it 4 times in a row yesterday, just can't get any further at the point in Mülheim (Ruhr). Play on PC (Steam) TSW3

 

I miraculously succeeded..I play TSW3 on pc steam

 

Can confirm that Class 31 Cemented Skillset still not tracking (XSX). ☹️
