    Hello, I discovered this game a short time ago through the game pass and I'm really enjoying it even though I'm not a train enthusiast (but who never thought about driving one?).
    I saw that the company unfortunately has a certain disregard for simple things, I went after to see how to enable HDR in the game, for those who have a compatible TV/monitor you know the difference it makes.

    It only needs a few commands in engine.ini. Only enable if your monitor or TV has true HDR (1000 nits or more).

    This was the best configuration I could get:

    [SystemSettings]
    bUseHDDRisplayOutput=True
    r.AllowHDR=1
    r.HDR.EnableHDROutput=1
    r.HDR.Display.OutputDevice=4 (3 for 1000 nits 4 for 2000 nits)
    r.HDR.Display.ColorGamut=2
    r.HDR.UI.CompositeMode=1
    r.FullScreenMode=0
    r.HDR.UI.Level=0.6 (setting for menus, 0.5 to 0.7 is ideal)

    Works well? Yes, I would say that 80%, the menus are duller and uglier, but nothing more. The panels and buttons come to life in an incredible way, it made a big difference!

    Too bad the company doesn't enable this natively, it needs little adjustment to get 100% but the game doesn't even have a brightness adjustment.

    Sorry for my english, is not my native language.

    How do you find out how many nits your monitor has, system info? I have a 144hz 4k one so would be good to know.

    Need to see the manufacturer's specification.
    I have a Samsung 55" Q7 with 1500 nits.

    If you don't have a monitor or TV with more than 1000 nits the image will be without any difference and maybe even worse.

    Just want to cofirm that these settings apply to TSW5 (and presumably 4 as well.) Just had a few minutes to check it out on my new display last night, but seeing signal lights and marker lights shining like that was stunning, to say nothing of the sun!

    I tried the HDR settings in TSW3 and TSW4 and it was hard to get a fairly good image, my monitor is 4k from Corsair RDD0013 and it's only 400 nits, to 1k nits. Would like to be able to take advantage of HDR, but $$$ is an issue :)
