Heya, I'm pretty new to TSW3, and I've seen that you can go inside the Finnentrop signal box, but when I try, the door doesn't budge. A little guide on how to get in would be awesome
Interesting. Finally the sort of "prize" that makes doing Mastery worthwhile. Would be even better if we could then do a stint as a signalman!
Yes, this is indeed a great reward, I was very surprised. If you want to be a signalman I can recommend Rail Route, it is a lot of fun and quite challenging.
Well then, I guess those of us who couldn't care less about medals, achievements and " mastery " ( whatever that is ) are excluded from some potentially interesting aspects of the game. Very unfair.
SimSig is my goto for that sort of thing. And I agree with Crosstie - I wonder what other nice little Easter Eggs are hidden behind Mastery, which I associated with pointless stickers and decals. Time to dust off RSN I guess.
Unfortunately it appears the Mastery on RSN is broken. I just completed a timetable run that met two of the Stage One objectives - complete a timetable or scenario from the 766 and exceed 70 MPH but no faster than 75 MPH, which I was most careful to adhere to. It was an enjoyable drive especially as the route actually looks quite nice in TSW3 but that's 50 mis of my time wasted not getting the mastery to open.
Even if I were interested in this mastery nonsense, at my rate of play I'll be driving that great railroad in the sky before I ever achieve anything. ( I hope when they open the Pearly Gates, I'm not confronted by a yard full of Electrostars and Red Go- karts.)
Well I tried again with a run driving from a loco and this time it gave me the achievement. Then also added the previous 766 run I did to the second part. Very strange.
