Sehs Timetable Surprises (warning Spoilers Ahead)

Thought I would share what I have found in this amazing SEHS timetable created by Joe and James. I have all the DLC UK/German so your mileage may vary depending on what DLC you have. We know from the SEHS Deep-dive article that some services are seasonal. So see below my first surprise:-

I arrived into St Pancras around 11:20 on the 1J25 Margate to St Pancras Service and was amazed to see this Rail-Tour. I was not paying attention to month when I picked the service so don't know what month it was (Aug-Oct) Maybe but I know the time for sure as I have not done many 395 runs so knew which service it was. I spawned in every month ast St Pancras and could not find it so maybe some randomness is going on. Happy Hunting

 

Second surprise:

Appears Oct/Nov 10:05 and 11:20 (Seems static does not move but spawns in/out depending on time)

Nice one Joe, clearly you kept that one as a surprise.

If you want to know about whether the ICE runs on this route, or whether it just sits at St Pancras all day, all I will say is this...

...if you ever get the chance, go and do the follow two services down below:

• The second part of the Charity Javelin Railtour (5Z12/1Z12 starting at 4:01)
• Service 1J72 from St Pancras to Ramsgate starting at 22:35

Make sure the month is set to either October or November and the rest... will play out before you're own eyes.

 

Why? What happens?

 

I can't imagine the pain you felt knowing you couldn't tell us!

I have to agree... after playing... you should play and see for yourself.

 

How shocking can it be? Surely you just pass the ICE moving?

 

Maybe it gets robotic limbs and becomes a Transformer.

 

Maybe, it has got working toilets!

 

Surely the most that can happen is that you pass it when driving.

 

All I will say to that is... You don't pass it, it passes you.

 

I think the point is not the act of passing it, but knowing that you picked the right time and month to spawn it in. Sort of like the trainbow - yes, all it does is pass you, but its scarcity is what makes it cool!

Also no one was told that this would happen - and it is a nice surprise to find that it does!

 

I’m gonna do this very service and then return to free roam when I see this rail tour and then give you some more info on it!
