Route: Dresden-Leipzig. Train: CD 162. Not sure if it counts but it is a unique train heading for Leipzig led by a czech locomotive subsituting for a failed DB BR 155. (I love czech locomotives, their sound is beautiful). Its not a very common occurence considering its going trough germany. *inspired by youtube thumbnails*

BR Class 33 'D6566' gets ready to depart from Williton with a maitenance train full of supplies headed for Bishops Lydeard and will stop at various locations along the West Somerset Railway to drop off supplies for the engineers and workers stationed along the line to make sure the railway is in working order. A snow storm has rolled in over the Donner Pass so 2 Southern Pacific EMD SD40T-2s pull a caboose full of workmen to check the line and make sure that the line is not blocked so that the trains can still keep running. Loco: EMD SD40T-2 Route: Donner Pass: Southern Pacific

The Network Rail "Flying Banana" New Measurement Train, seen cruising just north of Mountsorrell on the MML, on the way to Etches Park Derby back in 2007.

Great composition, nice setting! It's one of those pictures that draws you in & puts you right in, I can literally smell all the smells associated with the forest when I look at it
