Hi, I am trying to get the LGV mastery. Tier 1 has "Lightspeed" (reach 320kph) and this triggered fine. "There in a Flash" is the other part (drive 100 miles). Something is not right: it seems to be adding one per journey rather than counting the distance. I have done 4 journeys so have a total of 4/160,000 towards the total. Has anybody else had the same problem?
Yes, I have also. Finished one timetable run from end to end, and that scenario where you go from A to M and back to A and nothing recorded. Very frustrating.
Same here. I was going to report it myself but decided to wait until I could make another run, just in case it was a "just once" issue.
...me too! I've made many trips with the TGV in the meantime, but it doesn't really count. Only one meter is counted per trip and since you need at least 160000 just to meet Tier1, it would still take years at this rate.
...it's the celebration of the French national holiday, with a squadron of jets spraying the colors of the flag in the sky and fireworks over Marseille. So something very special!
Just done a TGV service “There in a flash” is showing 93163/160000 (assuming that’s the end number as it’s cut off) -Edited due to mistake in counting, mastery seems to be working as intended for this route
I'm considering setting up a different thread to talk about the mastery. I need to figure out if Oakville works first. First the good. The new TSW3 ones that work fine are: - SEHS - Kassel-Wurzburg - Peninsula Corridor - LGV The ones that are not triggering for me: - Cajon Pass (making the switch stuck at 1/2) - Island line 2022 (Islander stuck at 0/3 scenarios) - Spirit of steam (Express delivery stuck at 0/3 and I have tried a 3 different LMS Stanier scenarios)
...after I heard it finally works, I was so motivated last night to do Tier2 as well. The tracking is now working perfectly, so I can continue with the "Top 3 Mastery Rewards" thread for the forum.
Hey - spoken to the DTL team, and this is their feedback. Cajon Pass - if you're getting 1/2 complete, it implies it's working at the moment, but it's for specific services. Are there any you've done you'd expect to see counted? Island Line - hopefully resolved. Can you confirm please? SoS - investigating.
For Cajon Pass, the instruction says for mastery you need to play shunting services. I played two shunting services in Barstow yard. For the first one it worked, for the second one it does not. I then did not try this again. It may be that shunting services are not registered properly as shunting service, so don't blame us. I still think something is wrong here. The services I played: Barstow Yard Switching 12 and Barstow Yard Switching 9. I played both using the journey. As the name says, I think it is reasonable to assume these would count for mastery. Otherwise, give us a list of what is supposed to work.
Thanks JD and the DTL team for looking at this. I'm out later so won't get a chance to look today. Would it help if I gave my DTL account name? Being able to look at live data might give support some help diagnosing the issue.
The main problem I noticed with LGV on PS5 is that the threshold for getting gold on the short trips from the depot to the station seem to be set too high (or the mileage isn't being counted right). I can stay under the speed limit and stop within a meter of the stopping point in the station and still come up short on points. To get around this I move the train back and forth a few times in the depot and then go to the station. Experiencing this issue in LGV (and a few other TSW3 extensions) makes me think the scoring system needs a rethink--basically track based on how many points were deducted than how many total were scored, because doing extra back-and-forths to gain extra APs shouldn't be a way to cheat the system. The stats shown for a high-mileage area like LGV (e.g., total KM traveled, # maps placed, first aid kids, etc) aren't quite displayed properly in the TSW3 menus -- when the mileage gets very high (e.g., 10,000km) everything else gets shifted too far to the right. The # of km should probably be on its own line and the other aspects moved down to the next line.
I did Barstow Yard Switching 9 again and this registers for mastery, but this does not guarantee it is working properly for all yard switching services. I also am not sure of the two I played this is the one that is not working. You probably should solve the issue by doing a thorough review of all settings and by running a test at DTG afterwards with a fresh dovetail live test account. What I did may be OK for beta testing, but it cannot compensate for testing by the devs.
DTG JD I tried the isle of wight 2022 masterery again last both on a existing and new profile and it is still broken for me. Still cannot complete tier 2.
Level 1 of Cajon pass is working for me now. Thanks. Apologies for the edit. I just checked the level 2 requirements. "Never Take The Easy Route Complete 3 Scenarios with a Difficulty of 3 or more" There are only two scenarios with a difficulty of 3 or more: "Through Fire and Flames" and "Barstow-away". The others are difficulty 2.
This is broken for me too. I just completed 2U02: Ryte St John's Depot - Ryde Pier Head. It is the first task in "Island Summer Spirits". I've given it more time than I normally do before posting this message and I cannot see it in my Drivers Logbook on DTL so the mastery is not updating.
On the Island Line T2 content. Can I ask if people are seeing progress now? We'd made a change last Friday, and are seeing data coming through to suggest people are completing the Mastery now.
JD - I'm unable to complete the SoS mastery, tier 2 'Express Delivery', where you do three scenarios or timetables with the Stanier. I've done several now and not one has been recorded. Will check Island Line when I get a chance.
Island Line is still not working for me - tier 2, it recognized one timetable run but not the other subsequent three.
A quick update. The below are the mastery tasks that I cannot complete: - Cajon pass: Tier 2 "Never take the easy route" wants 3 difficulty 3+ scenarios but there are only 2 - Island line: Tier 2 "Islander". Refuses to update my count from 1/3 - Spirit of steam: Tier 2 "Express delivery". Refuses to register any Scenario or timetable with the LMS Stanier. If anybody has managed to complete the above, I would appreciate some tips.
Island Line and Spirit of Steam are broken for me also, the only two masteries I'm unable to complete as neither one recognizes my timetable/scenario entries. As for Cajon Pass - what you say is true, but nothing is stopping you from simply repeating a scenario. It doesn't have to be three unique scenarios.
LGV mastery seems to be playing up. On Dovetail Live it states Tier 1 complete, however now the "There in a Flash" entry has reset to zero (and won't increase), and in-game Tier 1 is showing locked again.
I have completed the LGV mastery and have it supposedly enabled, but I do not see any change in the route...
At 6am jets fly over Marseille, and at night fireworks go off, make sure it’s activated via the mastery tile in live screen
I just didn't know the times, thanks. At 6am it is still night and I can see the fireworks. I couldn't see any planes, but it is dark ... Edit: Changed the date to summer, so the sun comes out earlier, and I could see the planes. Thanks!
