Hi all I know this dlc is a while ago but its is one I never purchased but with the release of tsw3 I been thinking about it to complete my collection I think the route looks great as does the train but the one thing drawing me back is the extremely short length of the route with only 1 train I cannot justify it being worth buying however I'm interested in starting a discussion to see what others think about this particular route and whether you think it's worth buying etc just a friendly discussion is all I'm looking for thank you for your time

I really like the route. But don’t buy it yet, it’s broken in TSW3. A lot of the Sursee to Luzern services hit a red light. Rivet have been able to recreate it but haven’t said when it will be fixed yet. It works fine in TSW2.

In general I really enjoy it, but it’s my most local route. It’s very recognisable if you know the real route. In my opinion Luzern Station is really well done.

Apparently there are some issues with the safety systems, but I haven’t tried them yet, so can’t comment.

IMHO Rivet is better than their image here on this board!

I´m enjoying LZN quite frequently, depending on the mood (I want a calm and effortless service). Of course, the route is relatively short and there´s no freight. But I think the scenery is very carefully modeled and the RABe 523 is a gem to drive. As far as I remember from some time ago visiting CH, also the sounds are quite a match. Luzern Station is indeed very nice.
I would recommend to get it on a PS sale. No regrets! But as my fellow forumite Tigert1966 points out: If it´s bug-infested still in TSW3, wait for the bugs being squashed.

Jasper_Rivet took note already of the red light bug.
Let´s see who can squash the bugs faster. Shouldn´t be too difficult to beat DTG in that discipline.

Many of these observations are valid also for other Rivet Routes (no, I´m not a paid Rivet-Fanboy). But IOW2022 in example - also a short route, no freight - is worth a trial as well. You´ll find some smartly written scenarios which are quite fun to play.

This route and island line 2022 are probably the best rivet routes I've had so far. I have all dlc basically except the 38 stock. Scenery looks great for once, trains well modeled as always. There may be issues but I'm really enjoying the routes regardless

Thank you for the reply that is really cool that it is your local route I'd love for my local route to be in the game but as of yet it hasn't lol and ye I agree thr route and train does look great no doubt its the shortness of the route that puts me off if it was longer I'd definitely consider it more

Isle of Wight is definitely a short route but we get the entire Isle of Wight route in the game so to me that makes it worth it I mean ye it could have the steam line also added on as an extra but other than that as short as it is atleast it's thr full route I don't have anything against rivet I like their stuff and as good as this route looks and sounds it should've went further just my opinion though thank you for your response

I too enjoy the routes and I agree this one does look and sound great and the train is well done too my biggest gripe is with how short it is and for £20 I cannot justify it sure Isle of Wight is short too but its the entire route (minus the steam line) so it balances it out for me I'm glad you enjoy the route at the end of the day that's what matters if you enjoy it it's definitely worth it thanks for the response

While this is a beautiful route it does suffer for only having the one unit on it by not being very busy. The train is great to drive and while the route might be short it's a 20-30 minute run each time so it's a great run for when you don't have much time.

That's a good point about it being a quick relaxing run when you don't have much time I no doubt would enjoy it I just don't feel its worth £20 but if people think otherwise that's good they enjoy it
