Sorry if this sounds a bit whingy, but why is it necessary to log-in to Dovetail Live every week? I feel it's not really needed to refresh my log-in so frequently, is it? I mean, I'm only playing on my own PC... is there a specific technical requirement that forces this to happen?
yeah the last couple of days Ive had to sign in every time, prior to this hadnt been asked on TSW3 since 1st launched
I think every time they tweak something at their end to try and sort out an issue it requires everyone to log in again. There seems to be a lot of tweaks going on at the moment.
I never have to sign in. I guess I must have signed in once when TSW3 launched, but was never asked again. I am auto- logged in when I launch the game. The same thing happened with TSW2, I was permanently logged in.
Oops! I have to take that back. I had to sign in today for the first time since TSW3 launched. I hope it's the last time for a while.
Seriously, is this still a thing? How hard is it to let the software remember our fricking login details? Literally every other piece of software ever created can do that. Can't imagine many people are so desperate to hack my train sim account that my login details can't be stored on my own console for future use.
I find sometimes it drops if you switch across to TSC and do something there, where you also have to keep logging in and like TSW doesn’t remember your credentials.
