    Hello,

Would like to run train simulator 64bit but requires 16gb of ram. I currently have 8gb but am wondering whether to add another 8gb of ram to meet the minimum requirements. What are the benefits of the 64 bit version? And is it worth adding another 8gb to get the benefits of 64bit? The main purpose I would like 64bit is to make long scenarios with a lot of AI.
    Many thanks in advance

    Colin

the difference is that the 32-bit version is limited to 4 GB of memory, sometimes TS fall into the Windows of windows, because it was out of memory. 64-bit version is unlimited in terms of memory and, therefore, it is possible to build a longer route and scenarios with a lot of high quality vehicles, such as here. I have 32 Gb of RAM. So I recommend more memory. bandicam 2018-10-12 18-54-06-047.jpg bandicam 2018-10-12 18-56-51-128.jpg

You can run TSx64 on less than 16Gb of RAM. My machine has 4Gb and it runs OK at reduced framerate

Deffo get more ram if you can, it's worth the few extra quid/bucks.
Your PC will love you more too.
