I'll be honest, i get my copy of TSW2 for free from Epic, from last year events. Does that mean we're not treated equally with ones who buy the games? I hope this just auto reply and not a real person. Got this from Epic customer support.
This, to be honest, reads more as if Epic support are not aware of the fact that those three DLCs were not sold as separate Add-ons for Train Sim World 2, but included in the base game (regardless of whether you paid for it or got it for free), so everyone who owns the TSW2 base game is entitled to those Add-ons for TSW3. DTG JD Maybe you could make this clear to Epic.
Three Rush Hour routes arrived. - All 3 TSW 2 core routes - Missing - Peninsula Corridor - Missing - Baby Bullet - Missing - Caltrain MP 15 - Missing
I also got the base game when it was free so I doubt there’s any different treatment. Like someone else said, I think something screwy happened with some of the accounts that don’t have the core routes and there’s probably another common factor with those that we have not identified.
Yes, the Rush Hour routes are here now. The TSW2 core routes are still missing and Ruhr-Sieg Nord with the BR 155 and the BR 363 is downloaded but not selectable in the game.
TSW2 Core - Missing Southeastern Highspeed Extended through TSW2 - Missing So no further change for me....It's nearly 3 weeks from the initial release now and we're still missing owned and paid content...I've the feeling, it would be easier if we could transfer everything to Steam, instead of waiting on the snail-mail, named Epic...
DTG JD And are you investigating if the problem with Ruhr-Sieg Nord not showing in the game might also be a pathing issue or something of that kind?
Ruhr-Sieg Nord with the BR 155 and BR 363 are now playable for me. TSW2 core routes are still missing though.
Maybe the person handling them is on holiday or sick. My tickets haven’t been answered either but normally get a reply within 24 hours.
Sorry, we're experiencing a really high volume of tickets at the moment, and our Support Advisor is off this week and next. So we're trying to get to things as quickly as we can (I've done a couple of late nights this week to try to get through some more). It may be a little wait, but we're trying to prioritise where we can.
Can I ask if you put your ticket in the 'Product Key Claims' section, as suggested here? https://dovetailgames.freshdesk.com...ow-to-use-legacy-add-ons-in-train-sim-world-3 We're trying to prioritise those tickets, but within the back-end of our system the tickets submitted using that option have all been answered.
Quick update going into the weekend: We believe RSN and dependent Add-ons are now available for those waiting for them now, as with Peninsula Corridor. Still investigating the Core routes.
I've done that and had no acknowledgement what so ever. hardly a priority if you ignore tickets is it?
The previous tickets hadn't been tagged up as 'Product Key Claims', as requested in the article we linked you, so it wasn't in that bucket. I've responded with the process required for a disk entitlement, and I'll try to get to it as soon as I can - but I'm finishing up for the weekend now as it's been a long day and week. Thanks for your patience.
Can confirm this. RSN (inkl. BR 155) appeared in the game. Core routes still missing. Thanks a lot for all the late nights well invested.
Its a bummer that the core routes thing is gonna drag on into another week but at least it seems like its next on the list. DW
I hope the TSW2 core routes problem solved next week. Just cross your finger guys. Oh how i miss the Sand Patch Grade. A wrong move to uninstall my TSW2 before getting each content to TSW3.
I was wondering how difficult it is to solve this problem and what that might be? A doubt, is it only who get TSW2 for free last year, me included, that has this problem?
It might be possible that they used specific entitlement codes or a specific range of entitlement codes for the base TSW2 game that was given away for free last year. And that those codes do not get transferred to entitlement codes for TSW3 now. At least this is what I would look into (not knowing at all how the entitlement transfer process is done, though).
DTG JD SEHS (through TSW2) is now avbl as well for me It's something at least. So just TSW2 Core still missing.
Boston Sprinter is also a little plain without Sand Patch as you don't get the CSX locos and rolling stock parked along the route, all those sidings and little yards are empty. DW
Already messaged Epic Games. They typically say that they can‘t do anything and i should ask DTG for answers. And same here, I’m still waiting for the 3 TSW2 core routes
its not good enough you really have ONE person doing that. What a joke of a company makes ea look competant
Just for the record, (and I own all of the available DLC to date on Epic), I have now received the 3 Rush Hour Routes, and the 3 TSW2 core routes. I confused myself last night thinking that I was missing the "Southeastern BR Class 465" DLC from TSW3, until I realised that this is no longer necessary and is included with "Southeastern Highspeed Extended". So on Epic, it now seems the only "entitlement" I have from TSW2 that is not installed for TSW3.... is the "New Journeys" expansion, and I think we are still waiting for that to be released on any platform.
I wasn't gloating! Sorry if it came across that way. Just saying that I had received the TSW2 Core and Rush Hour routes, that it is possible to receive them...... Not sure why it works for me and not you.
Can I check: did you get TSW2 during the free week in July/August last year? (P.S. - glad you've got them now!) Epic mentioned all entitlements should be set up, but I'm wondering if the free week had a different package ID.
FOR ALL THOSE STILL REQUIRING TSW2 CORE ROUTES... Epic are looking into entitlements (some will have and some won't have the routes at this stage), but can everyone who is still without them Contact Epic Directly explaining the issue using this link, please: https://www.epicgames.com/help/en-US/epic-games-store-c5719341124379 Thank you. I know it's a pain for those who are already nearly a month into this now, but hopefully the end is in sight.
I did sent a support ticket directly to Epic, JD. But i'm still getting those answer to get in touch with DTG instead. Shall i send another support ticket to them?
I had to go back through my receipts to answer that question. No, I paid the huge sum of £4.99 for TSW2, when it was on sale. Missed out on the freebie.
Having to get in touch with 2 people from Epic using Epic Live Chat support, and still no changes to my TSW3 library. Although they said that all my content entitlement already there. But they said they're now continuing to investigate the issue.
