For Unofficial Editor: Do Not Use Norton Security!!!

    it will remove files as ws.reputation.1!!!
     
  2. Do not use Norton security period. It's a massive drain on resources, false flags everything and is a complete rip off.

    I use Avast antivirus does that affect using the editor?

    I use a combination of Windows Defender and common sense whilst browsing the internet. Never had any problems :)

  5. Been using Microsofts built in protection for nearly a decade and funnily enough never had a virus.

    My dad insists on using Norton and he gets threats everyday, several times a year i have to go and rebuild the windows registry because Norton has deleted a critical system file! I think Norton is in fact the virus.

    Last time I checked, Avast does delete the executable after a few runs so you do have to set an exception for the editor folder to keep that from happening.

    I think it's a good idea to do that anyway for all your heavy DCC apps and games in order to reduce stutters.
