I've just bought a PS5, I already own TSW3 on PS4. When I log into TSW3 on PS5 and log into Dovetail Live, all my progress from TSW3 on PS4 seems to disappear and I'm back on Lv1 like it's a new game. Is there anyway of transferring it accross?
Answer is no. Only the biggest developers have been able to implement solutions for transferring saves between PS4 and PS5, with much help from Sony and mixed results. It is a platform limitation and not something that can be overcome easily. You can't even copy/backup/access your own PS5 save files, except through PlayStation Plus cloud backup. This was in an effort to combat cheating. Sorry, you will have to start from Level 1 again but your Dovetail Live account with all your route mastery rewards should remain regardless of platform, if I recall correctly.
