I would like to ask if anyone has been able to finish the "Time for Scouse Scenario" in Spirit of Steam (TSW3, not tested in TSW2). It has been impossible to me, always stopped qith a "Scenario Failure". Not in the same place or moment, it can happens anywhere. Just asking before decide if I must report the problem or maybe it is a failure of my system. Thanks a lot in advance and best regards Edited: Problem solved, please see below
I was able to complete it on the first try a few days after TSW3 came out, but I remember it being very frustrating. Endless, monotone shunting - always in close proximity to red signals. I sometimes stopped early because the signals were so close to the objective markers. Perhaps that’s what saved me from a SPAD.
Think I’ve been tripped up on this one. False spads caused by AI, but also the frustration of being just a little out on the turn table, try to adjust and overcompensate and drift off the end rail (loco launched into space), really wish there were buffer stops there. I gave up on that scenario- too frustrating.
Finnaly I must say that the scenario is doable. The key is timing. I have followed the timing of ProdigyPlays at Youtube and I was able to finish. I suspect the key is not arriving too late to Liverpool. I suppose if the loco that must take away your coaches begins to move before you are in the platform, the entire scenario fails. or something like that. Any way, I have accomplished his sequence (8:11 coal + water, 8:20 coaches, 8:22 Edge, 8:28 stopped at Liverpool...) and it worked.
