Class 73

I would like to see the class 73 because it looks great love the power it gives I think it will look great on Railtour services on Southeastern and East Coastway

Absolutely correct and if you look at train simulator 21 forums what you're looking for is a bundle with Class 460 because the Class 73 there is the correct one with working 750v DC Third rail Top Contact and Diesel mode made by MKS. Unlike the blue and Gatwick Express versions made by DTG which are not working properly in diesel mode. The way to get Class 73 is a TSW 2 Bundle with Class 460 EMU as a Gatwick Express bundle pack made by MKS.

i personally think these locos should be introduced with a Old version of like Brighton Mainline or East coast ways cause just having it there for nothing but rail tours wouldnt really be fun, besides you need NTP just to get the 1 rail tour it could be used on

 

I think the best way for them to introduce it would be in a “Electric commuter legends of London” pack. I think if it happens then it should be in the transitional era from era 7 to era 8.

I know this post is over an year old know but it's the first time I found an thread about this. So I was wondering if dovetail would add the class 73 on london commuter to pull the gatwick express and Thunderbird trains. Before you ask yes I know they no longer are in use by the Southern railway (Southern) and have been replaced by emus but it would be easy to add them. Due to the route not needing to get changed and no new emus to work on the route as back then the class 377 operated on the brighton mainline so the only thing they would have to do is to create an 2004 timetable and jsut replace the class 387. Which is not very difficult and if you are wondering what it would look like (it would look like this model down below). So I hope dovetail look at this post and know this thread shouldn't be abandoned (forgottened) instead it should one day lead to an dlc of the class 73.

 

I'd love to have a GBRf 73/9 for the RHTT DLC to run on SEHS and also the BML and ECW routes.

Could also open up sleeper services with Mk5s for a future route.

 

Would be amazing to see thos dual mode loc! Deff on BML where it would fit perfectly!
