You can't really zoom in that much. Since the God mode was used... I recreated the picture with the original TSW3 maximum zoom... can we take pictures with the God mod after all?
No, it's not possible. the picture was taken with the God Mode - Alpha. here I have reproduced it Now please don't get me wrong, the picture is super good. but you have a big competitive advantage over the other players, so i think the question is justified. can we take part in the photo competition with the god mod?
'God Mode' wasn't used. I used the 'Universal Unreal Engine 4 Unlocker' in order to set the field of view to something around 15, I think. "Please make sure anything that is not available on the Steam Store or Dovetail Store is not shown in the screenshot." I found this tool a few months ago on some Steam guide about improving the look of the game, so I'd argue that sentence does not prohibit it. "Please make sure anything that is not available on the Steam Store or Dovetail Store is not shown in the screenshot." I don't really know how to interpret this part in this instance, as the field of view more impacts the composition of the screenshot, rather than the subject matter within that 16:9 box. "This means no community mods." I don't think anyone in the TSW community made it, and it being invisible makes me think of it as more of a tool than a mod (but maybe that's just my experience coming from a few years as part of the Farming Simulator player base). I remember noticing .ini edits and mods in some past winners of these competitions, so perhaps I thought it is permissible based on that. I welcome clarification from the judges and if deemed necessary, a new winner this week.
Hmm, yes. I can see from the lampposts. I still like the image though! This is what I love about this community - everyone is very polite here, and open to criticism. Very friendly! I personally don't really mind, I'm sure if the changes are minor then it should be fine.
This does actually bring up a very valid question. How .ini edits be treated? Technically speaking, you're not adding or changing any physical models in game. But I think one of the biggest problems is that it puts console players at a massive disadvantage. Personally, I see the statement "make sure anything that is not available on the Steam Store or Dovetail Store is not shown in the screenshot" as 'if every platform doesn't have access to it, then don't include/use it in the screenshot competition'. That's just my interpretation though. I'm' interested to see what DTG says
Not worth tagging Matt in for Screenshots, save him for anything technical dev related - Currently I was hoping to update you all with more information, I will make a full post when we have a solution but right now we believe something in our backend has changed meaning TSW3 doesn't support multiple loading screens, we're trying to set a system up to swap in and out screenshots easily rather than just adding them to a rotation. As for previous winners who haven't been showcased (including weeks 34-36) these are still planned to be put into the game and have their time.
