    I don't know if I am doing something wrong or if these forums are configured differently from what I am used to but here's the thing...

    I go specifically to the Train Sim World forum and click New Posts, then I get new posts but they are from ALL of the other forums too - not just TSW. So then what happens is I end up posting in the wrong forum. So the Classic guys get pissy, and I get confused because I am seeing and reading stuff that does not apply to my version of Train Simulator. Now bear with me a sec;
    Normally when you go to a Forum, and click on Sub Forum and then choose new posts you get new posts from that Sub Forum and not the whole forum. Or at least if you do get them all it at least indicates the Sub Forum or Sub Category they are from so you minimize mistaken identity and wrongful posting. This one does not work that way.
    Shouldn't it be possible (and preferred) for a guy to open his Sub Forum of choice and then request and review new or active posts only from that Sub Forum without having to get everything from the entire Forum or to go through each Sub Forum Sub Category individually?

    Am I right or am I pissing into the wind here? I find it very confusing at times and nonsensical the way it works currently.

    No need for all the swearing.

    I use New Posts all the time and the subforum names are underneath the thread titles in the list so you can see what forum they are from before clicking. There are a couple of overlaps of names but not many that are used that often. I would definitely check which forum you are in before posting or navigate there manually rather than through New Posts to avoid the wraith of the Classic guys.

    One thing that can be done is to mark the other forums as read when you open the forum. It takes a few seconds but deletes all but the TSW threads in the forum from the new posts list. Basically, you select Forums, then click on Train Simulator Classic and then at the top of the page is a Mark Forums As Read option. When clicking this you get the option of marking all the forums or just the one you are in as read. Do that for the fishing and board games forums too and then New Posts will only show TSW threads (until someone posts in the other forums that is). It’s a bit of a palaver but I do it when the other forums are getting a lot of traffic. Otherwise I just check the subforum name under the topic in the list and I then know what to not click on.

    It would be nice if the New Posts feature followed the forum you are in but that has been requested before I think and we are still here with one forum covering all games and that feature sadly covers all of them together.

    Not sure what you meant by "swearing" but thanks for the good info. I will try your suggestion.

    Step 1: Click Train Sim World
    Step 2: Click Whichever Topic You Wish (E.g: Suggestions, Off Topic, Xbox and so on)
    You should now see the newest threads within those topics.
    This should help you
