I would like to see if other people are encountering these bugs. I have not tried this in the new game but in TSW2 the sand patch trains would always get stuck at red signals after reloading a save, Also the F40PH on PCD and BPE's ditch lights stop flashing after saving and the only way to solve this is to cut the locomotive power and turn it back on again, Also these locomotives HEP sounds will stop after saving, I have also run into some issues with Cajon Pass and the non player locomotives headlights don't turn on, and the step lights stop illuminating even when the switches are on.

More accurately, the initial fixes are being made in the core code (in TSW3), which will affect all routes. DTG will see how effective these fixes are before doing route fixes, if and where necessary. Hopefully the core fixes will get rid of the red signal bug, or at least dramatically improve the chances of not encountering it before more fixes are made. Hopefully the initial fixes will be patched in in the next week, and then I will finally start playing the game again.
Yea like the previous member said, the first round of fixes will be to the core. Making sure the game knows which train is ai vs player controlled, making sure the setup of the train is saved, etc. Then route by route. For example if your windshield wipers are off when you reload a save where they are on, that's a route by route fix
