Loaded up the scenario “The Tables Have Turned” on Spirit of Steam in TSW 3. Immediately after aligning the turntable to the correct track, I’m told to “Climb aboard the locomotive”. Unfortunately, climbing into the cab and sitting in the driver’s seat does not trigger the objective. And this is why:
Had the same issue a month or so ago. I believe driving backwards a bit (towards the turntable) helped.
I’ve just started this scenario on PS5, at the very start I’m prompted to stand at the turntable controls, but when I get there nothing happens, it won’t activate, tried restarting scenario and moving around a bit, but just simply says 0yards when I get there.
Did you press the triangle button to stand at the turntable? You have to do that the same way you’d sit in the engineer’s seat.
Yes, very buggy it seems. Simply won’t activate. I deleted the DLC and reinstalled it and it worked. Thanks
Bugged scenario. Just how many times are you supposed to align the turn table once the engine is on. ? Half an hour later and lost count of how many times I turned the table it won't trigger it. . Obviously still bugged after all these years. Xbox series x
I personally think that in the case of an unfixed bug, a bump is acceptable. It notifies those who talked about it in the past and avoids having duplicate discussions on similar topics. Bumping a news/announcement article from four years ago to make a random comment is another story however, of course…
