Ever since TSW2, and in TSW3, the player made liveries you get from the Creation Centre will intermittently work. Whenever you start a new session of the game, either all of your subscriptions are gone, or there are only 1 or 2 randomly present. This happens to me every single time I restart my game session, and the only way I have found to 'fix' it, is to go through and manually unsubscribe and re-subscribe to the liveries I want...individually...and when you have 5+ liveries for some routes, this can get extremely tedious. I realize there was a fix in TSW2 to log in and out of your Dovetail account, but now I can't even seem to find the location to log out on TSW3 (if someone could inform me, I'd appreciate it, because I've found nothing on the internet), only to switch accounts, which doesn't help. Please Dovetail, fix the custom liveries so they will reliably work. I was willing to be patient when this had just came out in TSW2, but we're now in TSW3, months later, and I haven't seen this issue addressed once in any other forum posts or patch notes.
You can log out under "Settings - General." However, do remember that, for Xbox at least, you will also need to remove TSW from Quick Play, or the cache won't clear. I will state that, on Series S, I have never really had a problem with my subscribed liveries disappearing as you have described. I have noticed that liveries do not show up in CJP. I would very much like to know if this is intentional on the part of DTG, and if so why. Also, if the plan is to not have liveries show up on any certain route, I would suggest making this known upon release, because otherwise I would consider it an expected feature on all TSW routes. If it is a bug causing liveries to not show up on CJP, it would be nice if this bug could be confirmed at some point by DTG, as well as whether or not they plan on fixing it. Liveries don't show up on the wagons on SEHS either, and there are other examples as well.
Thank you, don't know how I missed this. It would be nice if Dovetail could go back and update their previous help article about this workaround from TSW2, with the new location of the log out button in TSW3.
THIS ^ And I would add ... useless to even have custom liveries if they won't or can't be enjoyed "in game".
I've yet to try Cajon Pass, but I'm not seeing any liveries showing up when I try to start the game on a timetable, so I guess it's a problem on PC, as well.
