Just bought TSW3 after many happy months playing TSW2. But after forking out almost £30 the game frequently starts to stutter for 30 seconds and almost grinds to a halt which is really affecting my enjoyment. It seems to happen at the same places for example near Hoo Junction on SEHS so why is this so much of a problem yet TSW2 was fine? Not happy.
A valid point but why did Dovetail mention "TSW3 performance is acceptable on 8th gen consoles" at launch? If I was told there was a problem this would have affected my decision to buy TSW3 in the first place. TSW2 does not stutter at all on my admittedly very old Xbox One.
Wish you had come to this forum before having made your purchase as you would have learned that sadly TSW3 is a complete mess on consoles (any generation). You're probably better off waiving bye bye to your cash for the moment and continue playing TSW2 until either the issues are fixed or consider this an expensive loss
Tried different routes in dynamic bad weather with TSW3. Northern TP, Great Western, Tees Valley and Spririt of Steam all fine no stutter. SEHS which came with TSW3 stutters????
Won't be buying TSW3 as they have never resolved all the issues on TSW2 which have been around for 12mths. Whats the point in buying a faulty product for them to just do a wee fix her and there and before you know it TSW 4 is out with more issues.
I get hefty lag on sehs in the tunnels which is weird. And at some stations. Also noticed when running tsw3 my series x fans get alot faster, which didnt happen with tsw2.
When a 395 pulled up at rochester platform 2 whilst I was on foot I was walking into invisible barriers which I think are "ghost passengers" even while stood still I was wandering what was causing my character to be budged out way and nothing there to naked eye . But yes my sehs stutters . Makes it bit unplayable to enjoy but I try to persevere
Played SHES on Series S three or four times. It only stutters for me in one instance, when a Javelin with a creators club livery is in the vicinity.
