This is mainly for PlayStation players, has anyone managed to complete the above scenario? It’s the last one I have left to complete.

I’m on PS5, loaded the scenario through journey mode chapter 3 freight engineer.

First task is to go 5plus miles to South San Francisco yard, the speed limit is 10mph upon the stop however the game has crashed for me twice now. Once about 500 yards away and the other time a bit closer about 200 yards from the stop marker at South San Francisco yard. Game screen just went blank both times and reported the crash to Sony.

Anyone else had the same issue?

Just tried this today. Twice. Both times game crashed in West Yard. First time just after stopping, second time immediately after the switcher connected extra wagons. Submitting ticket now.

Seems to me Peninsula Corridor scenarios need a close look by the developers, see also the post I just had to bump about a Journey mode one that still crashes nearly a year after reporting as faulty.

Can you post me a link to your post please? I am getting the usual replies from DTG as in, " Could be your machine's fault. Please send this, that and every other thing." I would love to be able to point them to where others are having dramas as well. Funny thing is, that as you say, after trying twice to complete this scenario in journey mode and failing, I am able to complete it in Scenario mode. Yet they insisnt it could be my machine.

Yep, you're not alone. And on that exact same spot. In TSW2 on PS4 though.
I won't submit a ticket, it's just a waste of time. And then: I got this route with Patch 1.90. Although I've never purchased, let alone paid for it. Go figure ...

For some reason I can’t copy the link on the iPad. Do a search for Peninsula Corridor Crashing or under my username scroll through my content and the thread should be there.

I have received a reply to my ticket on this, after replies from DTG insinuating that as I am having so many issues, it could be my machine. The final reply to this:
Please accept our apologies for the delay in responding to your ticket. We are currently experiencing extremely high demand for support right now, and we hope you can forgive the amount of time it has taken to get to your ticket.

As a matter of process, we need to consider all possibilities. However, using the information you have provided us with, we have successfully reproduced the issue. This gives us the groundwork for further investigation.

The issue reported has now been logged for further investigation and this ticket will be marked as resolved.

    Issue Reported

    • Peninsula Corridor - Dirty Dirt Drive (Journey Mode) - A crash occurs around the time of stopping in South San Francisco Yard and uncoupling the switcher.

How on earth can they mark it as resolved in these circumstances! Not a good response at all.

Marking a ticket as resolved on our backend simply means that we have completed the action - In this specific case you have reported a crash on Dirty Dirt Drive, we have logged it to our developers to fix with a high priority, and we resolve the ticket to just say "Thank you for sharing, we've reported it".

We get multiple reports of similar issues per day, if we left all the tickets unresolved we simply wouldn't be able to go back and address them individually with our system, and we would miss other tickets that need reporting. Thank you for understansing.

Well,I discover a funny thing...In TSW2 my account level is 75,and I driving F40PH or MP36 southbound the game will crash(both scenario and timetable)……and in TSW3 my account level is 79,but from level 0 to level 78,the game works fine......

Thanks. I'm on TSW2 PC and am having the same problem lately with the F40PH and you are confirming my suspicions that things might get fixed in TSW3 but not in TSW2. Shame on them!

I understand this. However, I feel we were told a big pork pie when DTG said 'we are taking a break to fix issues in TSW2', and there was a collective sigh around the community. Our shock was soon to come however, when we heard of the impending release of a whole new TSW3.
Now those of us who will not purchase TSW3, fear we will be left with a bugged game forever. For example,in the above post by vivalavabis#5089, where he/she/other says, 'In TSW2 my account level is 75,and I driving F40PH or MP36 southbound the game will crash(both scenario and timetable)……and in TSW3 my account level is 79,but from level 0 to level 78,the game works fine......'. I know I am having the same game crashes in this route. I.E. southbound trains crash the game, yet it seems that if I buy TSW3, then this is fixed. DTG has really given us no assurance that our TSW2 bugs will be fixed. Will I submit a ticket? No, I will not. The drama is not worth it. "Send us your crash reports; send us your diagnostic reports; you seem to be having these issues with some frequency; uninstall l and reinstall the game, verify your files." Yet, these very forums are full of other people reporting the very same bugs. Can you and others at DTG not understand our disillusionment and frustration with this state of affairs? I guess not, it seems that money from the next big thing is the aim of the game and to hell with previous purchasers. Well no more Alex, Caveat Emptor as they say: 'the buyer alone is responsible for checking the quality and suitability of goods before a purchase is made.' I have 42 DLC for TSW2 and let me assure you, I have checked the quality and found it wanting. Why should I have to purchase the next big thing to have the DLC I already laid out hundreds of dollars for (over $1K, to be more precise), fixed? I do not expect a reply as I doubt you alone can justify such shoddy behaviour to once loyal customers

The thing is,My Peninsula Corridor Crash in the TSW3 now, just like the TSW2 crash near the south San Francisco while driving the southbound train, but it was working perfectly from my account level 0 to 78
