Besides, Rivet games are based in Scotland (Stirling), so they are more likely to make more of their local routes and more Scottish routes for tsw in general.
Had a good chat with Jasper on rivets forums, he/she/they said that the pic of Partick station means nothing about the new route. (sorry, don't know what gender Jasper is and I didn't want to get it wrong)
A simple "They" would work... I would take what they say with a pinch of salt. It COULD mean more than Jasper is allowed to release at the moment, so denying anything gives plausible deniability in future.
No. The system that you quoted is the common system but DTG uses a different system where 7 is modern day
the next Roadmap will be hopefully first tuesday in November (01/11/22) so, at somepoint within the next 13 days we should know what routes they are
Let's hope so. It will be awesome if DTG and Rivet announce at the same time. Really keen to find out what they both plan on doing. The cherry on the cake would be Just Trains announcing their first project before Christmas. That would be the best 2 weeks off work if there were 3 new uk routes to enjoy.
I severely doubt any route announced in November will be available for xmas unless they're VERY advanced in their dev cycle. Of the three only DTG would maybe be halfway possible to release on that tight a timescale
Yea, I have to agree with ARuscoe here. I seriously doubt any more routes could be made for that tight a timescale. If anyone could do that it would be Dovetail but If they did it would be a very small route.
so if is the east coast mainline, what locos do you think it would come out with? Would the 700 layer into the london commuter route? I think what ever route it is is , is already very advanced and it would be out before Christmas. Just my opinion.
I only mentioned Just Trains project as they announced last December that they were joining TSW and we have heard absolutely nothing else since. I guess only time will tell.
lord everything It's not quite the same. For Cathcart DTG employed Rivet as a 2nd party (direct employed company) to undertake specific tasks. That's not what we're being told here, then again we're not being told all that much
Hopefully Class 91 + Mk4 set for express and maybe a 365 for local traffic. Don't think I could stomach another Electrostar fest with the ghastly Knotweeds (Hitachi 800 - 802) thrown in. Better still give us Deltics and Paxman engined HST's.
I would hope for the 225s and 365s, maybe layer on an NSE 313 and/or a Valenta HST. Maybe London - Peterbrough... OR... What if its the WAML from London to Cambridge via Harlow? That would be cool, with the Stansted and Hertford East branches... 317 thrash
On the point of rail company license as said in this quote. What rail company license do we know dovetail and rivet games have as it would make it easy for us to figure out what the route is.
Avanti West Coast ScotRail Southern Southeastern Gatwick Express GWR DB British Rail EWS (there is more I just can't remember rn)
I think they also have both Thameslink and great northern, though that could be me not remembering correctly.
Weird one but could the DTG route be the Cross City line or a London Overground Line? Though ECML/WCML also is plausible
LNER Class 800 LumO Class 802 Cross-country Class 220 Cross-country Class 221 Cross-country Class 170 I would love to see all of these trains! Hopefully at least one of them gets made on this new route!
I don't mind what route is annocend but I hope it is actually long so it's not like GWE where you reach your top speed but than have to slow down immediately.
I doubt the Eurostar is a TSW picture. These are pictures that the artist who does promotional art for DTG has done and he doesn’t only do TSW stuff. The top picture does have the styling of a TSW cover shot which is why that is likely a piece of TSW artwork. So ECML yes, Eurostar, no.
