I have always enjoyed TSW. But now its just a pain after the new patch/build on PC/Steam. I get a stuttering "effect" every 5 seconds, i can even hear it in the audio, like its lagging. Ive tried to reinstall, delete safe files, verify the files on steam, download a new driver. Nothing has helped. I would be so happy for any suggestions to what it could be. Everything ran smooth before the new update. Build: 9701310.
It does seem to have got worse and might even be what is driving the CTD's I've been experiencing on Peninsula Corridor.
this will always be a issue on PC Steam no matter what as a 5 year TSW Player ever since the core update in 2021 its been worse then ever no matter what u do or say they will never listen to us its a unreal issue well know with unreal 4 they could build something to try fix it but it will never happen
Hard to explain but it works for me, when the game behaves strange. There are other people who tried this "solution" too. This issue occurs after updates or heavy interference in the setup e.g. via engine.ini or after many in-game settings changes. Perhaps this is coincidence but deleting folder called "config" is sometimes the real solution. I don't know the code-story behind that but I recommend to try it. Its a bit wierd. Last day it was fine. 1 day out of many. But now its again stuttering. My specs are fine and i have always been able to run it on ultra settings. Got this error from Unreal engine everytime.. prototype win_64 shipping ???
