Hi Guy, Hope some one can shed some help here. First off I have done TSW over the last few years but with this new breed TSW3 I have started getting one major problem. As the the title says I am on the Trans Pennine (Class 45 & 47) and resently noticed that from either stopping at a station or even when resuming a saved route the Loco just dies. I can't seem to be able to start the engines again. Any help will be great
If the engine is off you need to put throttle into the off position and move the reverser into the engine only position, then press the engine start button and you should be good to go.
Unfortunately TSW3 seems a bit unfinished. I decided to wait a bit until the major problems will be fixed
I have had locos on NTP shut down from excessive wheelslip or running up into the red zone on the ammeter (overload trip?). Usually when departing Manchester Victoria straight into that 1 in 50 climb. Can be a bit tricky getting them restarted.
Ah right glad to have helped. A way to stop the shutdowns is to make sure that when you leave stations you build up to being fully open in stages.
