Playing steal Gaze on RSN the first instruction is to go via, the marker is just before a red, once the player drives over the marker some text appears on screen telling the player to 'Request permission from the dispatcher to enter the sidings etc... and while the player is reading the message the player will fail to notice the red signal Infront to the train, the train drives over the signal and its game over. Somebody at DTG must have one hell of a sense of humour that's all I can say. It's not possible to TAB the signal on the fly as it takes a few seconds for the signal to clear, the player needs to stop the train and then press TAB This instruction needs to be changed from a Go Via to a Stop At.
Strictly speaking the signal ought to be the player focal point and you should be prepared to stop regardless of the objective instruction. Looking at the image the marker is some distance back from it so while it could have been scripted better I would question whether it's a bug per se - always apply the railway equivalent of the aviation mantra, "Fly the plane" = "Drive the train."
Highly agree with old vern. Stop instructions should be taken for events, planned stops etc, but for sure not on a regular red signal, which should be noticeable by driving the train properly with its safety systems. In my opinions there are too many instructions used in tsw, but thats just my own opinion. Be prepared theough "skill" instead of "do this and stop there" is all the fun of driving in tsw. Telling every yellow and dark red to a player in form of a instruction, is an immersion braker. There are too many green signals anyway on rides, so every happening where the player needs to think ahead or take action makes tsw better & not linear. At the bottom of the line, i would say no need to change anything, op was not prepared to drive his train properly, and now expects from the devs a change of the entire scenario/service? I hope dtg has a line between real bugs & personal convenience. 99% of players like a bit of a challenge.
