I have played around with TSW3 god mode mod when I noticed something unusual:Acela express placeholder.Spawning it into TSW3 gives us an ACS64 Sandwitch formation.This fits in perfectly with the anmouncment of the US electric dlc.What do you all think?
It's more likely that they just want to announce it at a point where they can get the word out to as many people as possible.
Those acela formations have been there since day 1, when Brendon originally built the timetable he put all the Acela services using the acs sandwitch formation but then following feedback about other "placeholder" type services we removed the Acela services from the timetable just before release.
This is exactly correct. I made an "Acela" in the original timetable by putting an ACS64 at each end of some Amfleets. It BARELY made the scheduled time that an Acela would when I maxed out the AI acceleration haha.
Would be lowkey funny to see such a formation absolutely blast out of the station to keep up with Acela timing
If an Acela is coming to Boston Sprinter, it is going to be seriously stunted if the signalling system isn’t fixed. What’s the use of such a high speed train if it keeps getting limited to 30mph?
Message to Monder there is nothing wrong with the boston sprinter if your on PC shutters will always be a thing no matter what it is not so bad on a high end PC and the Acela Express is the loco coming and would see a timetable update to boston sprinter its easy to see this will happen so yeah over a year released and its better then it was and this is from someone who has played TSW since beta TSW1 pre release
