Be a great route to have a LNER Azuma along with thameslink services to and from kings cross from Peterborough, it was previously done in train simulator, the route is within reason of distance and times be great to add a great route to the game great modern traction also
It would be so cool to see a newer Hitachi in game. We have the class 395 but it feels kinda dated now. Course we can edit the 395 livery cause they look quite similar but it just ain’t quite the same. The class 800 just looks so good in any livery - especially the Lner Azuma and I think that it would be a great addition to the game.
I agree and the Tom Conell loading screen art is Class 800 Azuma with King's Cross background also similar to his 2019 art. Layers 387 BML Rush Hour Train Pack Class 700. The same LNER version can be reskinned to make WCML 810s 800/802 GWML
It's a little secret in tsw 3 where if you go into free roam on SEHS jump down by where the 66s are (If you land in a wagon you need to restart) then hop into a 66 that's in the middle then you can drive it and it takes you to Kings Cross. You can even go further than that! Though they'll probably patch it out soon.
The ECML or WCML is something that is possible coming looking at the codes on the road map by dtg I don't think the rivet games route is one of these going off what has been said on there forum's that's probably a Scottish route going by the code
I may be a bit bias here but I am going to say that the Azuma livery is by far the best 80x livery and I would even say that it makes them one of the best looking trains running on our network today.
Even though LNER aren’t my local - I can’t help but agree. The though the GWR livery features the stunning green - it is unite simplistic. The LNER Azuma livery however just works with the flow of the train. It was designed specifically to highlight the 800’s unique features. Though Virgin was also quick to hop on the Azuma bandwagon - their train just looks like the design team got a brief view of the LNER Azuma and tried to copy it - whist trying to make it look slightly unique. Overall I think that the LNER Azuma just looks better than all the other liveries and would love to see it in game some time soon.
It would be lovely if 4-6-0 LMS Jubilee Class no. 45596 Bahamas is an additional layer to the route, to do railtours from London Kings Cross - Peterborough.
I hope the other new route is a ECML route with the Azuma,IC225 and Class 700 with a DLC Pack with Mallard,Flying Scotsman and a class 55 deltic
LNER would be nice to see in the game, surely with the Azuma even though some Class 91 would be fun to!
And the dude has said that the Class 800 image was created by him for the actual real-world introduction of the LNER Azuma, nothing to do with the game. https://twitter.com/TomTheDoodler/status/1585414679790510081 These are the artworks he has done for TSW2 https://twitter.com/TomTheDoodler/status/1585584083333152768 He also says in that same thread that he was contracted for TSW2 only, and hasn't done any work for TSW3
