If GEML ever came to TSW, I'd love it to be in the 70's/80's (we've already had modern versions in MSTS and TSC), plenty of thrash with the 31's, 37's and 47's and would love a fully modelled Stratford depot - all just a pipe dream, I know.

    Dear dovetail games
I would like to cover the Lucerne-Sursee route and the Rabe motor train.

    1. the light is very weak when I go at night, I literally drive blind, this is not realistic, please fix it if possible.

    2. In the passenger compartment, the indicator light above the doors does not flash when the door is closed, please fix this as well.

    3. The importation of the SIFA system is very lacking.

    4. locker that can be opened on the right side, the battery must be switched on there for the motor train to be operational.

    5. lack of mains disconnection

    Thank you very much!

I know this isn't the place for it but seen as other people are doing it I would like the West Highland Line Glasgow Queen Street to Creinlarach/Oban/Fort William/Mallaig. I think the Rivet one is Edinburgh to Glasgow via Shotts with a Class 385. I think the DTG one is WCML South with Avanti West Coast Pendilinos

That's a rivet route, not a dovetail one.

1989 would be the ideal year for me, the last year of diesel-hauled expresses plus of course the 86s, brand new 321s, pretty new 315s and then hordes of first-generation EMUs, it would be glorious

Thats no problem, DTG always communicate with their 3rd parties abt bugs. So Rivet will already got this or they will (soon-ish?).

The Avelia Liberty is technically American though, cause it's operated by Amtrak.

The codes mean the country that the train operates in, not the manufacturer of said train.

Normally about 2 weeks after they preview and share a release date as a rule of thumb

The Avelia Liberty is assembled in Rochester, NY, so it can be classed as an American loco.

The Avelia Liberty is the new train set replacing the first generation of Acela Express I wasn’t talking about the Avelia Horizon ( TGV M ) which will be only for France at the moment.

It won’t come to HMA as the 3UA are just 10 yo… and the Horizon will come first at the PLM replacing the first Duplex 200 series being scrapped at the beginning of 2024 and the other Horizon will replace the R-tri that goes to Italy. No more information yet as even internally it can changes quickly and it’ll be able to run under 1.5kV and 3kV DC and 25kV AC first and pre equipped for Germany later maybe as an option

I dont think so as the Original Acela first service was Dec 2000 and the code on the new US Loco was 2011+ electric im guessing its the new Acela train Set

Hopefully the mark III carriages that are in different liveries will appear on service trains and not just the power cars. It still irritates me that the mark 1 and 2 carriages in different liveries don't appear on service trains.

And I also hope each power car are separate as there are trains like the 484 which copy to the other side automatically and I hope the 43 isn't like that otherwise making a good livery will be heck of a task.

It would be nice as well for the Power Cars to get their numbers back as well instead of 00000 lol

The date codes refer to when the route is set, not a particular loco's entering service. Routes with Class 101s are not coded to the 1950s! Nor is GWE given a 1970s code, even though the HST made its debut then.

Again, there is no way DTG currently could make a model of the Avelia Liberty, since they have no access to the prototype. Nor would it make any sense to place a Liberty on Boston Sprinter, which is set in 2019.

Watching the livestream now, a compliment for DTG:

    - The progress on game save.
    - Attention for UI
    - Auto testing

These are really good developments! Thanks for sharing them.

DTG JD, I though you guys were going to announce the routes before the next roadmap. Your running short on time. Are we going to hear more soon or has the announcement been pushed back further?

They aren't going to announce it before the next roadmap since it's only a few days away now. They will when they are ready

When did they say they would announce the routes before the next roadmap? I don’t remember that.

It’s no wonder that routes are regularly released unfinished when you get this sort of impatient attitude.

Come to think of it I do seem to remember a thread, though I can't remember which one, where JD, I think, said something about the new route being revealed before the next road map.

They said it at the beginning of the year when the roadmap got overhauled. They said route information won't be on the roadmap anymore. They will be on separate news articles instead. So, roadmaps will just say german, uk, us route for example but nothing more. The actual route info will be in a separate article

90s were quite literally brand new at the time, I believe the dedication of a fleet of 90s to freight only happened in 1991. The main freight locos would be 86/4s, 47s and 37s and 31s.

What is now with the October Roadmap? Until yet you released many buggfixes and game improvements, but I am still waiting for the announced new routes and new trains. Is it delayed until november?

I‘m assuming the Birmingham route will be revealed in the coming days. The trophies for it were already found, look at the thread in the PC Discussion for more info. We don’t know if this will be DTG‘s or Rivet‘s UK route, but I‘d probably say the former because of its complexity (about 25 stations). Rivet seems to be good at making niche routes with less complexity.

There’s apparently also a second content depot with a file size in the Steam files, which means a second route DLC couldn’t be too far away. There are two further depots without attached file sizes, so these DLCs are probably still far away from getting released. One of these is likely a route, and the other one could be the new US loco because it was updated together with Boston Sprinter‘s depot a few times. Many are obviously guessing Acela Express, but I wouldn’t rule out a surprise Avelia Liberty reveal because of DTG‘s good relationship with Amtrak.

Saw a Facebook post in the week saying that the new UK route MIGHT be Birmingham Cross City line running 323s, hoping there is some Midlands action featuring the 172 aswell. Apparently the rivet route may be a Scottish route which would be nice. I'm from the uk and as such only really have an I tereat in UK routes but it has to be said that while the uk, USA and germa y appear to be well served it seems as though the rest of Europe is very poorly served indeed.

And where do you suppose it would run, since there are currently none in revenue service and won't be until late 2023.

I doubt that Amtrak would want to see it on a scheduled service before they get to run it themselves; would be a little embarrassing.

They will not be announced until they are ready. They just got added at the beginning of this month. It either is in early stages or it's a few weeks away so we'll just have to wait.

It's probably just going to have the 323 and possibly the class 66 for freight since that's already been used a lot and that's what it came with in the tsc version. It also came with a 350 but I don't think the devs would create 2 brand new trains. Seeing brand new trains for the route is rare these days. There's always stuff reused

It's Birmingham Cross City Line with a Class 323. A pic of the code for the achievements for the train and route have been leaked. Don't know what rivets route is though.
